Omg, would that help or hurt trading Pickens for Wilson in a package?

    It's gonna hurt.

I could see maybe an agent but why would a team want to throw that out

Not really, the Jets make bad decisions. Perfect fit.

You have to ask yourself whose defense that was against. Looks like an outlier to me.

    Team has 3 1st quarter TD's in 17 games...

    :lolol:

Do you have some proof that Tomlin makes the defensive play calls?

Exactly. People are blaming the OC but I see a different RW out there. He is not hitting targets and his throws as of late are errant. Some of this of course is the Oline but its not entirely on them. He was on fire and cooking 5 games ago.

Do you have proof that he doesn't? Do you have proof that you aren't kissing Tomlin's ass?

If he leaves they'll probably make the super exciting Mike Sullivan the OC.

Yes, this is very true. It's why the Browns can never get ahead because of the revolving carousel of QBs and coaches that never have time to develop a rapport with each other to get good enough.

Do you have proof you're not an idiot?
If he was making the calls he would be constantly talking into his headset.

This is what I'm talking about!!! If we get rid of this "boat anchor" Artie Smith, Mike Dumblin easily wins 7 or 8 Super Bowls before his retirement in 2040!!! Look at the film, the only thing holding Dumbin down is this Artie dude! Why should Mikey T. (being the great in-game tactician & film scrubber he is) watch & study film 15-18 hours a day, 7 days a week...only to have this Artie punk mess it all up?

Some of it is on Smith, too. They lit up the Bengals the first time because they were aggressive. They went ultra-conservative Saturday, running on first and second down too often. The line was also a factor. They got nothing from Pickens and Austin, who combined for 111 yards and two touchdowns receiving in the first game against the Bengals.

Wilson was worse, too. He had a rough game, then failed miserably with the game on the line.

Yeah except the ultra conservative gameplan wasn’t coming from A Smith.

Don’t turn the ball over and make splash plays!

Holy molly 51 years. We won’t be able to afford the 4.5 Billion dollar contract and I’ll be far too dead to witness it.

I’m curious as to why any team would be genuinely interested in Smith. He was ok in Atlanta and has done nothing much in Pittsburgh

I expect Vrabel will get the Pats job and Johnson might take the Jacksonville one as they may already have a QB

The Jets may struggle to attract a top candidate

I think some of these teams are just interviewing anybody are the Jets really considering hiring Matt Nagy, Rex Ryan, or Arthur Smith?
