Oh noes Mayo got fired there’s going to be a social media frenzy!

 

IMO hiring Mayo was a mistake. But I think the only reason they fire him after just 1 season is because Vrabel is on his way there.

Stefanski probably gets another year if I were to guess. They are really playing up the injuries thing

Interesting. Ken Dorsey seemed like a good QB coach but may have been in over his head as OC. Don't know who the OL guy is but hope we don't ever see him here.

Poor guy, he never received a chance. Why did they even hire him if not given a decent chance,
I don't follow the Pats and dislike them but I don't think their roster is too good.

I read where NYG are keeping HC and GM, surprise to me.

 

Wouldn't read too much into this. I think the Jets want to interview every coordinator in the league

Antonio Pierce was shown the door by the Raiders today, one more HC opening available.

 

Pierce fired after 1 year, Mayo fired after 1 year, Ran Carthon(GM) fired after 2 years by Titans, Eberflus fired after 2 years, Pederson fired after 2 years, Dennis Allen fired after 2 years, Robert Saleh fired after 3 years.

 

Sounds like what some on here want.

After the Barkley disaster that played out on Hard Knocks for the world to see; where the GM gets an offer from Barkley's agent the day before free agency begins, and then doesn't pass this info along to the owner, because he wants to build the team around Daniel Jones. I would be shocked if he returned next year considering the year Barkley just had.

 

I would love to know where Robert Saleh is taking his Defensive mind. The stop in Greenbay as an Offensive assistant was a joke, but does show that he wants back in the game immediately.

Saleh got a raw deal with the whole Aaron Rodgers mess created by the GM and Owner.

 

I doubt anyone wants that. I personally want the next coach for the next 15ish years. 12-15 years for each coach seems like reasonable stability to me before things become stale. Nobody wants a situation where we're hiring a new coach every 2-3 years.

 

Back to the 49ers as DC?

 

I hardly think of people here actually want to change coaches every 2 or 3 years. I firmly believe that Tomlin's time has ended. So if the steelers replace him that hardly constitutes changing coaches often.
