As much as it pains me to say he is clearly on the decline of his career and it won’t be getting better next year.

If they get embarrassed in Baltimore next week would be the turning point for Rooney?

If the Bengals don't win a Super Bowl with the great franchise QB they have they should dis-ban.

Really odd to me there are not 32 young men in our country that can kick ass at the QB position in the NFL. Steelers are a prime example. We only had two great franchise QB's. Got to get lucky and find another.

I don't think they can give him another contract.

    4 Steelers caught passes yesterday.
    8 Bengals caught passes.

    It's a weak receiving group.

He pressured Burrow into another sack. His pressure was one reason Burrow rushed quite a few throws until the Bengals started throwing two or three guys at him late in the game.

Jefferson caught two or three passes, but he had another big screw up, too. He waited for a ball to get to him rather than coming back and to the ball on a third down, allowing the defender to break in up. Stupid little mistakes like that keep killing drives.

Fumbles happen and I’m not thinking Austin has a problem in that regard

But what are your thoughts on his 0/0/0/0 stats for the day

I think he only had one target it wasn't a really good pass from Wilson, Jefferson and Muth are the only pass catchers to have more than one reception.

That's not good enough on a night when Hendrickson got 3.5 sacks, the two backup OLBs each got a sack nothing from Watt or Highsmith.

You don’t have with him either. You can have all the talent and god given ability but be a head case and see how long you are in the league. How many diva WR had the same problem and aren’t on a team anymore. How many has Pittsburgh had? Did you already forget about them ? I am sure people said the same about the Bills when the traded Diggs but they seem to be just fine.

Not for nothing but our defense held a powerful Bengal offense to 19. Their lowest point total since end of October.

Well maybe you entend that with a D coordinator that actually has a scheme and moves people around runs twist do something besides lines people up the same for every game for the last 5 to 10 years. Same issue on offense and that’s because Tomlin will not hire anyone that may make him look bad cause they are good at their job.

This loss is more on the offense too many blown opportunities, the defense held the Bengals to one TD and got 4 sacks and 2 turnovers.
