I’ve seen it multiple times. He had time. It is a throw he has to make and he failed.

the Steelers are stirring something in the pot but it's not GLORY OR VICTORY-- it's a heaping pile of:poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::ACK!::ACK!::ACK!::ACK!::ACK!:

In all fairness to Wilson, the OL sucks, the OL coach sucks and the inability to give Dan Moore help is a travesty that cant be explained by an 18 year HC!

I dont blame Russ entirely, but I get where you are coming from. Drops and relentless pressure certainly didnt help. PLay calling or scheme just wasnt what it should be at this point in the season. In other words, nothing Cincinnati did should have been a surprise and yet it looked like we never saw that defense before or watched any film.

Saw Heyward shaking his head going into the locker room. You could see he was visibly upset. TBH, the D tightened up as the game progressed and gave the Offense a chance to do IT, and they failed in EVERY way an offense can fail. Bad Pass, lousy run game, drops everywhere, bad o line play, poor decision making, and finally p1$$ poor coaching.

    Sad.

A few times a game Arthur Smith does some really dumb stuff like handing the ball off to Patterson late in the 4th quarter , then he was still in the game trying to pass protect and got a holding call. With Najee banged up there is no reason for Warren to not be in the game in that situation.

I agree, I felt the same way until we were 10-3 and I finally started saying I might have been wrong on Tomlin.....then weeks 15 - 18 showed us the truth of what we actually have steering this ship.....is that an iceberg?

I said after we cliched a playoff spot 4 weeks ago, why not let fields play a few games( since Wilson was showing signs of struggling) Fields was heathy when i suggested it... And most on here disagreed, Well look at us now

One more game of Moore at LT most likely, Semaulo hasn't been good this season either.

Thanks Pappy, I never saw a replay from behind. They kept showing it from the side and I kept saying, “he’s on the bengals player! He’s not down!” Lol. I hate being somewhere other than my couch when a Steelers game is on.

It’s criminal that we drafted Jones and have to play him at RT because Moore can’t play any other position asides from LT. And it’s questionable if he can even play LT.

I would disagree, just based on the fact that the Bengals defense is horrible...if our offense comes out like that again vs. Baltimore, we're smoked.

Saw Pickens (The great in his own head) drop 3. Jefferson with a gimme drops it. Muth drop could have put them in FG range for the win. Maybe he isn't seeing all the openings but the drops are a killer.

Again i'm not giving him a pass and that scamper at the end of the game is inexcusable.

The entire offense came up short last night, but Wilson had the opportunity to redeem it all when Pickens got open behind everyone. He had time and just threw the ball to the wrong spot. That can't happen.

Well that is Ben Johnson, and he is probably the top NFL HC candidate. I would drop Tomlin and the rest of the staff in a heartbeat for a shot at him. Comes from a winning locker room, is very creative, and seems to get the best out of his team. Obviously they have good weapons in LaPorta, St. Brown, and Gibbs, but he is a great playcaller and they are very creative schematically.

We would have to move on from Tomlin and hire Ben Johnson if we wanted him calling plays here

Well, I say - get that s#It DONE already!!!

But the Rooney’s are a stubborn bunch and Tomlin is of the same cloth or learned. Do what they want seemingly just to prove a point that they make decisions out of sheer consistent philosophy and damn the contrary evidence.

The Fact is, the Steelers will never be a serious contender without an elite or close to elite QB. The only real way to get one is to have a top 10 pick or get extremely lucky. The Steelers would need to win 3 games to get a top 10 pick and I don't think the yinzers could handle that.

so - I agree we need better QB play, but this top pick stuff is a myth.

We have been over this time and time again. ANY YOUNG QB would FAIL in a Tomlin system. ANY

correct - I have said that after a few horrible seasons.

but M Tomlin loves himself. He would NEVER do this
