Why Do You Watch?

I’m just curious why so many people on here continue to watch if you know the end results already?

When watching the game do you just wait for the moment to come on this board to repeat the same things you say over and over?

I mean what is it you love about the Steelers? What makes you keep tuning in from week to week, year after year, when all you do is complain?

You can make endless posts that Tomlin needs fired, so and so needs to be benched. We need this or that. But guess what, you are wasting your time. Nothing you complain about is gonna change anything.

Im a fan of the Steelers, Doesn’t matter who is coaching or who is playing. I will have hope each and every week that we will win, I am thankful just to watch the team I grew up to love play every week. Win or lose. We lose this week, next week I will still cheer and hope we can pull a win out instead of hoping we lose just to come back on this board and start another Fire this personal, bench this person.

I swear so many people on here I believe hope we lose so they can just come back on here and do the I told you so.

 

You won’t get a legit answer from any of them. They have no interest in discussing football. They simply want to complain. You can go on any other board and you’ll find that steeler fans are the whiniest of all. It’s not even close. There are a couple members here that are members of other steeler message boards. They act the same way on those boards. The same stupid whining posts every day.

 

Still waiting to see this “high level” football conversation on this board. You have people pissed about the dumpster fire we have become and then homers attacking them for being pissed. Rinse and Repeat over and over.

Except now it’s only a very small amount of people still defending this clown.

 

At least we didn't do worse than last season.....

This t-shirt popped up in the ads on this site, which seems apropos. It's getting harder to watch and follow the insanity that has become the steelers. I don't expect anything different as long as Tomlin is running things.

 

It’s snowing outside and I’m too old to go play in it. I guess for some of y’all the only way to be a fan is grab the Pom poms and rah rah rah all day long. I will always be a fan but to sit here every week and watch stupidity gets a bit old. I will be here again so long as my health holds up and I will continue to complain should I see fit to do so.

These are bs questions.

Why bother coming to a team discussion board if not to discuss your thoughts and feelings on the team? Why talk about anything with another human being that you don't have direct control over?

Should there just be two threads, one titled "Yippie!", and the other "We'll get 'em next week!"? You just leave a thumbs up in the appropriate thread. Emoji's are all that's necessary.

This is bordering on 'You're not a real fan like me' territory'.

Well it’s a bit of a pattern with this coach no?? When he is the main problem (not only problem) of course it becomes a reoccurring talking point. It doesn’t matter what conversation we have as long as he is here it will be the same results.

 

How many posts have been made and the closest thing to a legit answer was from Elvis.

 

Just put them on ignore, It would cut your hall monitoring duties 90%. But what would you do then?

 

If it’s the same thing from the same people every day is it really processing?

It will be the same conversation no matter who the coach is.
