There’s no way you can watch the last four weeks and tell me that we have any chance in the playoffs. I mean yes it’s one and done and on any given Sunday we can beat anybody, but I sincerely doubt it. It’s going to be another one and done in the playoffs.

And they need to can Meyer and get a new offensive line coach too. And hope he hasn’t damaged these guys beyond repair. I honestly cannot remember seeing a worse offensive line. These guys were mostly promising college players we drafted or solid free agents on other teams and they have all regressed horribly.

I had to go to a party tonight and only got to see the game in the background with no sound. Can anyone tell me why Warren was short on the 4th down at the end of the half? All the replays looked like he was on top of the bengals player and not down so clearly got the first down.

Also on the last drive of the game when Patterson got called for holding, why wasn’t Warren in the game? He’s much better in pass pro and a way better option as a check down in a two-minute drill. Why does Arthur Smith hate Warren so much?

His butt hit the turf and the ball was half yard short. Was pretty clear (from behind) and I think maybe the ref thought he did land on that player and spin forward thus the initial spot.

Patterson in late for that pitch right and holding call is horrible horrible coaching. This is the team where talent goes to die.

There was a stretch of games where I said if Wilson continues to play like this the team could beat anyone in the playoffs.

That came to a screeching halt fast.

    14. One yard cost them 3 points. Of course Tomlin could’ve punted too and saved the FG at the end of the 1st half.

He failed with the game on the line. He gad Pickens wide open behind everyone. A decent quarterback makes that throw. He didn’t. I hate to put that much on one play, but that play was why you sign a guy like Wilson and he couldn’t get it done.

Going for it there was stupid. Doing it with Warren instead of Harris was incredibly stupid.

We need to keep running that pitch to the short side of the field. It works almost every single time we use it! Especially on 1st down.

I think they abandoned the game by winning the coin toss and giving the ball to Burrow and his impressive offense to go score first and then have to play from behind.

I'm not giving Wilson a pass but when your consistently pressured, no wide receiver separation and your baby supposed elite WR Pickens has the dropsies and your still pitching to Najee and not using play action to your advantage look no further to the garbage scheme that was drawn up between Tomlin and Smith.

All true, but he still has to make that throw to Pickens at the end of the game.

The two 2-minute drills (at the end of the half, and at the end of the game) was awful. It featured awful playcalling and even worse execution. Calling running plays when there's under a minute on the clock forcing you to call a TO to not even get the first down. What an awful sequence at the end of the 1H. There was zero urgency in the playcalling to even get into field goal range for Boz. And the players themselves couldn't even get a yard in two plays. Then to end the game the Wilson scrambled, when he should've thrown it away, and then he missed a wide open Pickens, that would've been a walk in TD, and finally Muth dropped a pass that would've put them into FG range.

Situational football at its worst from a coaching and execution standpoint. Numerous times these past few weeks Smith called sketchy plays in 3rd & short situations and we came up shorty.

And tbf to Austin, I think he did a decent job yesterday. They played bend but don't break football and held the Bengals to under 20 pts. With the exception of the first drive, I'm pleased with the defense.

I think if there is one silver lining from yesterday is the defense seemed to get back on track. Benching Sutton helped.

I think the end of the half was a turning point for the defense. Bengals started 2 drives inside the 50 and only came up with 3 points with a turnover.

I could be wrong but I think he was heavily pressured on that play by Hendrickson because of turn style Dan Moore (who will go to another team next year and be an all pro) and rushed that pass off.

Sutton played quite a bit yesterday. Also, as good as he was, Burrow missed some throws he usually makes and Chase let a touchdown bounce off his hands right before halftime. The pressure on Burrow was a big part of slowing him down a little. They also had some luck, but that was a solid performance with that time of possession disadvantage.

you are always SO SPOT on, thank you.

CAM WAS A BEAST last night. and Pat WAS A BEAST TOO! HITTING HARD

and to hold Burrow to one TD is a WIN.

THE OFFENSE STILL BLOWS, it is TOMLINS AND SMITH's offense. TOMLIN STILL SUCKS, every year, on offense. Blame ROONEY, I am just SICK AND TIRED OF IT

Do NOT pay Russ - it is not his FAULT, nor can he HELP. SAVE the $$ until TOMLIN IS GONE
