Ollie Gordon III from Oklahoma State would be someone I'd imagine Pittsburgh having interest with. The team do enjoy their big backs who have Vision, Balance and Toughness. I wouldn't mind him in the 4th.

This is interesting because in the past we've always had an idea what the Steelers will look for in aRB. Now, with Khan and Art, we don't really know for sure what type RB they will go after.
Smith has always had bigger guys at Tennessee and Atlanta, and now with Najee. How much of that was Art getting his guy vs that's what was there when he got there?

At some point our running game need to be more explosive, so I hope the steelers go in that direction in the offseason

I'd like to see Kaleb Johnson, or even Giddens from K-State.

I like Najee a lot but I don’t think he is in the Steelers long term plans. If he was they would have picked up his 5th year.

I am seeing Singleton from PSU in the 3rd round, he would look great in black and gold.

My kind of rb. He looks super explosive and great short area quickness and lateral quickness with a nice jump cut and tremendous contact balance. Doesn’t have the long speed but that is overrated for running backs. The only issue is he is very similar to Jaylen Warren. I have a feeling the Steelers will look for somebody who is different from what Warren brings. I just hope they draft a WR, DT and CB before they draft a RB. Good ones can be had later in the draft. Half the battle with the a RB is scheme fit so it’s important they find one that is gong to fit what they need. Honestly I could also see them bringing Najee back for a fair price. I don’t think Najee is gong to get alot of attention on the open market.

I'm wondering if the Steelers would create a 2 running back system: a power back (Harris) and a faster back for various in game situations?

Me and you both thinking on the same wavelength. Wouldn't mind having him. He doesn't have that many touches either; 532 total touches in his career.

Would love this guy. You watch we will overdraft a higher pedigree guy in rd 2 or 3 and they won’t produce half as much as this guy. He has great vision, agility, lateral quickness, explosion, power and contact balance. He may not have long speed but who cares that is overrated. The only problem is we kind of have all of that with Jaylen Warren and we don’t use him enough. We seem to be enamored with big plodding RB’s similar to the way we are enamored with smallish and quick DT’s.

My preference here is Quinshon Judkins or Omarion Hampton. Both have good size, are explosive enough (and good in space), and can be out on the field for all 3 downs. I would split snaps pretty evenly with Warren until one gets a hot hand.

I personally think we should sign a WR2 and maybe go with a RB in the first or second. Gets us an opportunity to get the high end talent and we really need to spend a few picks on that side of the ball.

Harris is not getting resigned… a reason they didn’t pay him … if he had an outstanding season , they would’ve resigned him.
I really thought when we drafted him he was going to be close as anyone to being like Derrick Henry. Not even close.
Im with others that have Singleton from Penn State on my wish list

you don't think our offensive strategy has anything to do with this? Or our O line?

No sir. Poor vision and not a strong enough runner, too much dancing for a big rb.

I'm in the Omarion Hampton camp as well. I believe we can get him in the 2nd round.

I like Hampton a good bit. He's run a lot out of the shotgun though and his long speed is meh. I prefer Judkins I think. If we draft between 27-32, I'd probably be good with taking Judkins in the first. Hampton should be around in round 2 and would be a reasonable consolation prize. I think the class is pretty deep, but Jeanty and Judkins are pretty sure fire studs IMO.

What a weird duo to lump together. I think lack of long speed is the only thing these two have in common....
