I watched this(Knock at the Cabin)last night. I thought it was pretty well done. I want to read the book now that it was based off of.

We watched Red One the other night.

I can't believe that went in theaters. It's what we used to call a "straight to VHS" movie. Or nowadays, a made for Netflix movie.

Not bad. It had its moments. But not good either.

It was okay. Not a huge fan of shamalam films in general. The last one I watched was Trap. Didn’t know it was one of his movies until after the fact. Then it dawned on me it was nothing more than a 2 hour marketing campaign for his daughter’s music career

Split was great. Even better at the end when they tied it into Unbreakable.

And then Mr. Glass. Should have been amazing. Wasn't.

I actually watch anything with Anya Taylor-Joy in it. LoL. There is something about her I can't look away.

Carry-On a Netflix movie that hopes to become the next Die Hard for a new generation. It was decent.

I watched that one. I thought Bateman made a great bad guy. As for the movie itself it was watchable. I would watch die hard for the 432 time before watching carry on a second time.

Yeah. Just watched Carry On last night.

They tried to be the next "Action movie that's not a Xmas movie, but is a Xmas movie." They failed. Mostly forgettable. Taron Egerton is usually good in most movies I've seen him in. Seemed a little subdued in this one.

Bateman was very good. But he's no Hans Gruber.

I was surprised when his name came up at end. I didn't know it was one of his. I dug The Sixth Sense but that's about it from him. I didn't know that about his daughter.

Netflix has season 2 of The Squid Game. Pretty cool concept, I just wish our country came up with it. They do a good job with sub- titles so I can follow. First episode of season 2 was pretty good.

I watched Carry On today. It was more or less a Die Hard clone but was pretty enjoyable to watch.

His daughter was the swift/beyonce/whatever type in the film. She performed her music for the film etc. so it was basically just a marketing campaign for her music career imo

I liked it! Another movie that won't win any Oscars that I enjoyed recently was Land of Bad. Also pretty decent and on Netflix.

I know this is for movies but I never watched HBO series, The leftovers. I think 3 seasons. I know a few members talked about it but I can't remember who.

Curious if at the end of season 3 things get tied up?? I know it's about a small percentage of population vanishing. I just want to know if the last episode has all the answers??

OK Brice - just about all caught up now. Finished Walking Dead, Daryl, Ones Who Live and now 6 1/2 seasons of Fear the Dead. Was really sorry to see John killed off in Fear the Dead, thought he was really good at his part as is "Darma" as June. Still waiting for a few others from original show pop up in the remaining 1 1/2 seasons of Fear.
