Was right about Harris. Extend Warren in the offseason.

Was right about Wilson. Hopefully they aren’t still disillusioned with him and won’t offer him a contract.

Najee has better stats than Swift what are you basing this on? Breece has injury concerns.

Letting Connor walk turned out to be a bad decision. I understood why they did because of the injury concerns and he does miss games but he’s better than Najee and could have used that first rd pick elsewhere.

It's laughable you getting on somebody for being wrong, when you just make stuff up on here everyday.

Different era. 1976 was when Bradshaw and Kruczek combined for a whopping 1666 yards. Roughly 2/3 of the plays were running plays.

Jim Brown said big F--king deal;)

I like Najee, glad we have him but as said before 1,000 yards ain't so big in a 17 game season. Thinking of the O line we have maybe it is a big deal. TBH, I was pumped for season thinking the Steelers have a great 1-2 punch at RB. Didn't turn out the way I had envisioned it.

Yep. Just like I said about Jim Brown, in those days in was hand off hand off hand off. Steelers had John Henry Johnson, not Jim Brown level but he was a pounder. I was very young but got to see Jim Brown in a mud bowl. Very cool to us young kids watching it. We got our ass kicked that day.

How many of those great backs would have faired just as well with the Steelers offensive line the past few seasons?

Although, I'm on the side of Najee leaving but not until he has a kick ass Playoff game to boost his currency;)

The Harris/Warren argument is not new to the board. Najee have a game, he's the man. Warren has a game, he's the man. Some GDT's had the argument going. If memory serves the fumble issue was what most were concerned with. Warren fumbles more then Najee?

Conner/Warren would have been sweet. I think Conner's season is over? Injury.

So any back who is better than Harris in some aspect of the game is better overall. That is your argument. Think about that for a moment and perhaps you will realize why i don’t even have to bother arguing the point.

Well, the OL has a lot to do with the run game struggling guys get hit as soon as they receive the hand off. You have to stay healthy for four years to rush for 1,000 consecutively, if it's not a big deal then how come no other RB has done it the last four years ? Jim Brown was a piece of crap, so I don't care what he had to say about anything BTW ;).

Also, Bleier started all 14 games. Apparently, he forgot what NFL offenses were like in the 1970s.

My bad, I thought you were talking the whole NFL. So it's a Steeler record.

    All the more then

They did it when the other team knew you were going to run the ball

    And again 14 games

The current Harris is an ok back but not great

Where did I say anything about stats? A lot goes into stats, more than just skill. I've watched Swift play a lot and he's better.
Hall has injury concerns, but I still think he's better.

This would hold more weight if you hadn’t claimed that Bleier ran for 1,000 yards as a backup even though he started all 14 games that season. You also left out that he was playing behind a better line, with a hall of fame feature back sharing the load.

When I say who I would want as RB I consider the ability to stay healthy, some fans on here say they would take James Conner over Najee no way.

He didn't forget that Rocky Bleier started all 14 games the year he ran for 1,000 yards.

I’d make a run at Darnold, bring back Fields and draft a QB regardless.

Was looking at some of the projections for Darnold, because of the fear of regression this might not be the contract he cashes in on. The thinking is he may sign a 2 year deal and then if he continues to shine like Baker he’ll get a big contract.

Vikings are the obvious choice but Darnold may not want to be looking over his shoulder with JJ there. If the Steelers dont get him you still have Fields and a draft pick.

Unless Wilson goes on a tear in the playoffs just end that experiment.
