Cannot agree with this post more. Let that sink in. The Chiefs didn't even have Houston on defense and the Steelers made this team look the very best they have all year long.

 

That means nothing. This world is full of pessimistic people.

I had them going 9-8. I started to believe they might be a little better than that. I threw the Indy and Dallas losses out mostly because of the offensive ineptitude. But this defense is overpaid and getting old and they still don't have a future QB. Not having a second reliable wideout has definitely hurt. And this offensive line is only marginally better than it has been for going on 5 years and that isn't saying much.

I will root like hell for the Texans tonight and for Pittsburgh to beat Cincy at home in a week and a half. But I don't have much hope they will a playoff game.

Yes but nothing lucky that year. We won road playoff games to get to the dance. The Bettis fumble was a freak thing - I’d say Indy almost got lucky there. It was a great tackle by Ben.

Players still can't even line up in proper procedure after how many times they have been getting docked for it through out the year. Maybe Mike Seifert is too busy writing scripts for clever quips after games he gets out coached over and over again.

If they still need practice at this point of the season then maybe they should be backups and not starters.

 

Tomlin is leaving starters in to see who wants it. Most of them look like they are going through the motions. I don't care for Pickens attitude but at least he shows he hates to lose. Pretty sure we will see pictures taken and jerseys exchanged in 2 minutes when it should be a hand shake and get off the field.

We all worried about these 3 games when schedule came out. Playing 3 SB contenders in 11 days. Well, we were right to worry.

I also remember some saying we got to win most our games before the big 3, well we did.

I know you think you’re some type of philosopher with these gotchas; however, the fact of the matter is, this team cannot compete with the better teams of the NFL. They haven’t been able to do that in over a decade.

 

They didn't seem interested in even running that last play

 

This subject is not one of those pessimistic scenerios. Mike Tomlin can not coach against any elite teams and even loses to horrible teams at least twice a season.

This guy is gonna go into the hall of Fame as the most overrated coach I've ever seen.
