Steelers Chiefs Game Day Thread

Yet another touchdown on a broken coverage. The Steelers gave up three of them against the Ravens and on the first drive here. At least some of this has to be on the defensive coordinator. He doesn't have his guys ready and organized.

I’m an optimist. I love our team. I’m not a Tomlin hater. I am sick and tired of our slow starts.

There are no excuses for the offense. Pickens is back. Chris Jones is out for the Chiefs. Wilson needs to get them moving.

 

49 points sounds better than 50.

 

Steelers defense has been garbage for weeks now.

 

They will use the 3 games in 11 days excuse. Even though KC is doing same thing, and on the road.
Sorta like the Browns loss in snow , Steelers blamed the weather

 

That’s exactly how I envisioned the start going. See my defense thread. Against elite offenses, this defense is very below average.

And the two timeouts. Refs actually called a penalty that cost the chiefs a point! That’s a first this season. This could be our day!

Tomlin ‘s defense has always sucked in allowing long drives and 3rd and long conversions. Playoff bound teams has always exposed his defense. Even with Polamalu in there this was somewhat of a problem.

 

Danny Smith and the special teams didn't help with that punt either.
