ben skowronek, heyward, miller. they have been hardly used this year. time to get some people involved. skowronek is 6-3 224. miller has shown good hands. heyward has shown good hands and never used this year. two big TE's and a 3rd that can catch. 2 RB's that can catch (warren- patterson) for sure and najee can as well. use the weapons we have. quit forcing the ball to the others when not open. we have more than enough firepower on this team to win against the ravens.

Well they best muster up a solid passing attack. Jackson goes off Wilson's gonna be throwin...

I can see the offensive line not getting owned in this game due to ravens B side defense.

But in reality I would bet run, run, pass will probably be on Smiths menu card with a steady diet of Najee pitch outs signed off by Popcorn.

and I say TELEGRAPH - and then RUN IT! in case you all forgot, the kid can run well!

Let Najee rest and then come in and HAMMER!

one pitch to Najee and you will see FIRE SMITH headlines quickly

   ;)

It would be nice if a thread titled "injury updates" would actually be about that.

Looks like Watt in, but Pickens still out which stinks. Ravens aren't very good at pass defense, but you don't have to be to cover the guys we have left.

Great, but none of those guys are enough of a deep threat to get the Ravens to back off at all, so we will see them crowd the line the same way the Eagles did last week.

I get that, but we are talking about how those injuries affect the game. The loss of Pickens cripples the Steelers' offense, especially against a team that is great against the run but vulnerable to the pass.

It certainly helps to have Watt playing, but losing Elliott is huge. He was fantastic in the first game against the Ravens. He may be the surest tackler on the team, which was a huge problem against the Eagles.

I agree that Elliot has been good in run support, but don't recall him turning in a notable performance against Baltimore.

    I hope not!!!
We will need him most against the Bills and their crappy defense in the AFCCG.

Plan ahead and keep punishing him Dumblin.

No, no this can't be true! We were told by the new guy "John" that Pickens was sat down by Tomlin and told he was being benched until the playoffs because of all of his personal fouls.

Pretty much everyone back except JPJ. We seem to be much healthier heading into Wednesday. Maybe a possible reason for some optimism.

That being said JPJ will be a big loss vs Mahomes.

Sounds like another super secret benching by Tomlin à la George Pickens

The new guy "John" is still clinging to the conspiracy that George was benched. He claims Tomlin told Pickens that they were benching him for the rest of the regular season as punishment for all of his infractions but that he could return for the playoffs. Of course GP took this news by just hanging his head and saying "Yes sir, I promise I'll do better in the future", lol.
