Hmmm...Number of seasons without winning a postseason game is 13. 2024-2017 does not equal 13. I believe it's been 7 years since we won a postseason game.

Seven years is too long. But yeah, some of these guys say so much dumb stuff that they can’t keep all of their dumb stuff straight.

Yes, it's 7 in a row and going on 8. And it's 13 of his 17 seasons without a postseason win going on 14.

What part can't you understand? Tomlin hasn't won a postseason game in 13 of his 17 seasons here and 7 in a row. If he fails to win the WC game this year, it will be 14 total and 8 in a row. Try to keep up, dumbass.

What the hell is a que? And again, what part of my post did you not understand?

Pay attention kids, Glenn is a cautionary tale of why you should stay in school.

So unless we have Joe Montana or Tom Brady reincarnated we may as well not even play another game and shut this board down.

QB is obviously the most important position but with a good overall team and good innovative coaching a guy like Russ is solid enough to make a run. Unfortunately we have MT.

Most of these guys say they want numbers and data to prove a point but when you start talking about playoff numbers everyone gets very confused. Interesting how that works.

Injuries are a part of the game especially this time of the year. Yes losing your starting QB or an MVP caliber guy like Watt is more problematic than other injuries but good teams overcome them until they get healthy again. Maybe that’s where Coach T and his huge salary could make a difference sometimes. Instead it’s used as another excuse and crutch for him.

The team loses a couple of games where they were the underdogs now it's all doom and gloom .

I understand where you are coming from but I think it’s PTSD at this point. We are 2 games away from the playoffs and likely playing our worst ball of the season. That doesn’t bode well for postseason success. Pending on how things play out I think we could beat a team like Houston or LAC or Denver but I certainly wouldn’t put money on it.

Russ got off to a hot start , in part - because he was new and fresh, in the offense. Smith is average at best, as another thread started is clearly pointing out. and the running game.......what RUNNING GAME??!?!?!

We are a very predictable team in almost all aspects, week in and week out.

Being real, I don't think Dumblin is a ****ty coach, as you say, but I do believe he's an AVERAGE head football coach at the pro level. I don't believe he's gonna wake up from a slumber one morning and magically turn into some "good" coach, either. He's not evil, he's not a terrible person, he's just NOT good enough for the Pittsburgh Steelers, IMHO.

It's not like he hasn't been given a chance, either. If Artie II doesn't fire him, then he should do the dignified thing and step down...too much talk, too much drama, and too many big losses. He's been kicked out of the postseason by scrubs like Blake Bartles, Tim Teeblow, and Baker The Interception Maker. No excuses should ever be given for those losses, either.

This isn't about hate or anger or disgruntlement or not hiring Whiz or him being labeled a poster boy for the Rooney Rule, it's about winning SUPER BOWLS! I think it's great we hired Dumblin in '07...but that was then, and this is now. It's all about ACCOUNTABILITY. It's all about RETURN ON INVESTMENT. Considering all the premium talent he's had in Pittsburgh, he's failed his teams, this city, this ownership, this fanbase, and he's failed himself. He's just not good enough at teaching football, plain and simple, and that's not even factoring in his poor clock/game management shortcomings.

In college football, it's important to teach LIFE (and football) to young men. At the Pro level, it's all about Lombardi Trophies...nothing more, nothing less. Anything less than a SB is a FAILURE in the City of Pittsburgh, and that's the way it should be. In Cincy or Cleveland or Houston or wherever, not winning a SB is no big deal, and that's fine. Not in Pittsburgh, though. Blame Chuck all you want, but that's the way it is, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Speaking of which, Artie II's in the same boat as his grandpa was in 1968...keep treading water, keep paying scrub coaches to fail every year, or go find the next Emperor! The next young, hungry, aggressive Chuck Noll is out there, too, and it's Artie II's job to find him. This sh!t's getting real old real fast. Until he finds a new coach, the Pittsburgh Steelers are officially HIJACKED...and every year, Steelers fans are stuck on 6.
