It’s been two weeks since he was activated from injured reserve. HE SHOULD HAVE PLAYED AT LEAST 50% Of THE SNAPS

Making Kahn's decision to skip on the best CB in the draft seem even like a dumber mistake now. Quinyon Mitchell should have been wearing black and gold competing for rookie of the year as a Steeler.

Yep, this time of the season when the competition gets tougher you need better quality depth at CB.

Just win the next two, and we’ll be ok. Austin has to dial up something to make Mahomes uncomfortable. He needs to “show up”. Im still in favor of doing a better job of jamming these receivers at the line. Disrupt the play or slow down the route while applying pressure on Mahomes. Seems clear to me, or maybe I'm missing something…

I can understand why they drafted Fautanu. The mantra seems to be everything starts and ends in the trenches. If Fautanu is healthy this definitely would be a far different and better team. If Wilson or any QB has time to throw, even Van Jefferson would qualify as a true WR2

But drafting OL in round 1,2, and 4 is a bit much, Donte Jackson is a small injury prone CB they should've drafted the #1 CB in the draft.

I agree, brother. TF may become a great tackle, but you don’t pass on the pick of the litter of CBs.

WTF? How about getting BOUNCED out of the playoffs by scrubs like Blake Bartles, Tim Teeblow, & Baker The Interception maker...was that also because of injuries? Asking for a friend...

Not when two of the starting OL in 2023 isn’t even good enough to be on another team’s practice squad in 2024

I wonder how many reps Cam Sutton will be getting in practice at outside CB this week?

I have no faith in the James Pierre / Cory Trice combo right now.

    FYI.
The Steelers placed Henderson (neck) on injured reserve Saturday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports. Henderson had already been ruled out for Sunday's date with the Broncos, and he'll now be required to miss at least the next four games. He'll be eligible to return in Week 15 against Philadelphia.

There was a 15 yard diameter spot in the center of the field that was no man's land for our defense. :(

It is a process to take a guy like him down. Get hands on him or get in front of him to slow him down...... And hope that defensive help is imminent....lol

In hindsight people use injuries as an excuse for losing those games, but people tend to forget we were heavily favored. Apparently the oddsmakers didnt think we’d have much trouble. I guess they forgot about the Tomlin factor?

How is that working out with Fautanu? You could've had your two starting CBs for the next 10 years . In the draft the top CB never falls to the Steelers, that's why they should've drafted Mitchell. Then you could take pressure off of Porter Jr. trying to cover the top receivers all by himself.

They could've gotten by with a starting five of:
    Moore
    Seumalo
    Frazier
    Daniels
    Jones

They’re not trying to get by. They’re trying to be really good in the trenches. You always build those first. Also it doesn’t do much good to go get a Franchise Quarterback if the Oline is trash. They’ll get a CB. Our two starters are pretty good. Can’t do much about injuries

Austin can’t dial up pressure even if all he has to do is hit 0 for operator.

Donte Jackson is small and injury prone he will also be a free agent after the season. Fautnau had knee problems in college I believe and now he's had two different injuries in his rookie year .

Agreed, would've been happy with him or his teammate, DeJean. Didn't need another T, especially with Moore making pretty good strides this year
