Notre Dame is overrated. Last time they were revelant was in the 70s.
People talk about the love the SEC gets, NCAA does everything in their power for a team that not only isn’t in a conference, but wins nothing of value year after year in Notre Dame.
I am Irish, still don’t like them. Money money money and of course NBC

GA is definitely beatable but it is going to take better play than what ND showed last night. Indiana's secondary is not good and the supposed run D strength of IN got blown up, albeit 98 yds on a single run. Indiana was so far out over their skis it isn't funny. They are not a playoff caliber team and they proved it last night. GA can defend the ND run game better and they will have Faison locked down. Beyond him, they don't have any real threats down the field. To me, it comes down to who is playing QB for GA. Mike Bobo is another weak link in the GA offense. We'll see if the sun shines on the dawgs ass next weekend. Pun intended.

Ga most definitely beatable this season. Yet, they find ways to keep winning. Ask Texas

I love Penn State, but it would not surprise me if they lost to SMU today.
Penn State another team that plays no-one and than when they do they lose…I.E. Ohio State

And like I said last night shows another one of the team that didn't belong there. That's again why it matters who You play.
Anyone can have a Good record if they play nobody.

After one year, they still need to go back and address this playoff situation or should I say debacle.
Plus, they need to review the portal opening before bowl games.

Looks like Jennings is the better PSU QB of the two.... lol Gonna throw more TD's to Nittany Lions than Allar will

This was a big game changer. If Jennings makes a decent throw its a walk in TD, instead its a turnover on downs. 2 pick 6's to follow.

    PSU offense is stagnant
All Jennings had to do was run, had first down easily

You put the current college landscape in a nutshell. Teams can elevate their mediocre to good status with a good selection of NIL/portql transfer, the 'blue bloods' of college football (at least this year) might still be very good, but having the 4 and 5 star depth waiting for their chance is far less because of the because of that portal and NIL.

I think the 'laughing stock' line is a bit much (except for the Coach's mouth and bragging), I think you will see a couple to few teams every year make this type of 'leap', the conferences are huge so the scheduling allows for a team to get through a year with the competition less. Get those wins under you belt and sneak in. They will have to address this non=sense sooner or later, 130 teams in FCS, and the large major conferences are not sustainable. I have no idea what the numbers will be, but when all the contracts are up and they figure the big money is a certain different direction, there will likely be no more than 4 conferences with 60 to 80 teams.

Notre Dame had a weak schedule too. I didn’t think they were any good, but they did dominate thoroughly last night. We’ll see what they’re made of in a couple of weeks.
