Why is the pitch out to Najee still in the playbook?

Yeah Warren really tore it up , and showed how much greater a rb he was Sunday. LoL
I should have put that in green.

why didn't we pick up that 5th year option?

3 huge blunders by the refs. go figure.

why does russell throw sidearm into 6-5 linemens arses. he's already a midget. i'm tired of seeing that too. he can barley get it over them overhanded.

ILB'ers playing like safeties. tired of that too.

whole area's of the field left uncovered at the snap. big area's. huge area's. the whole middle of the field is like a barren wasteland.

why don't we have a guy that his only job is to hold boz's beer?

why don't we just kick the field goal once we get down inside the red zone. we take 3 to 4 downs of penalties and lost yardage and end up still kicking the FG. we would get and extra possession or two during the game to kick FG's. :hmm::cool:

The pitchout is the perfect play for Harris if blocked correctly and executed correctly. There isn't a safety or corner that matches up to Harris when he is running downhill. They can and do stop him when they are running downhill and Harris isn't moving. So if the TE's are late off the snap it allows guys to get past them. If Wilson miss times the pitch it allows the defense to identify and start moving. When done correctly Harris has already started moving, his blockers create a lane and he can lower his shoulder and plow into the smaller guys. The same thing happens to Henry. When he is moving forward he is a load to try and bring down. Hit him at the line and grab one of his legs for dear life like the Eagles did to Harris and he isn't going anywhere.

Warren avg's close to a yard more per carry over his career than Harris. Lol.

Wow really. Anyone that has ever watched football knows that most of the time the backup averages more than the starter. Look it up.

as a starting back in the league, Harris is below what is acceptable in YPC. you can't LOVE stats and then ignore then when it is inconvenient ;)

I don't fully blame him, not at all - Smith and the OLINE are partly to blame, but this needs to be accounted for.

his career has been that way, BTW.

Yes, really, anyone with a pair of eyes can see who the better back is and that's backed up by the stats.

Yeah I've seen how well things go with the people with eyes bunch get their way.
Again most backup RBs have a higher APC than the starter.

You can't have things both ways.....like pick the team to win 7 to 11 games. LoL.
If he thought We were good at Wr , why should I trust what He thinks at RB

Yeah I could really see that Sunday.
Funny He's soooooooooooooooooooooooo much faster , and soooooooooooo much more explosive.....Yet somehow Najee still has the longest catch, and longest run this year. Strange :hmm:

they are well thought out and mostly on point. in fact, I don't read much of the Steelers local rags but took a peek at some today and saw that they are mirroring a good bit of what I am saying.

    ;)

not sure what you don't like - other than I call it what it is while you (some of) guys admit to being full in the tank homers that can't ever see the Steelers losing (from weekly pick thread). that is just naive at best , ignorant at worst.

I take no pleasure in watching us fall apart here late in the season - for all of the various reasons - injuries, coaching and otherwise. I HATE it.....

I know I actually had a few decent conversations with him over the summer and early in the year.
I know it’s a message board, blah blah blah
I know the definition of a fan, blah blah blah
But dang, there’s a few of these guys going around right now with nothing but Negativity. You know the type if they’re miserable, they’re gonna make sure everybody else is too

It’s not necessarily the points that you are making. It’s the frequency. We get it. We know your opinion on it. Move on.

I would say that a guy who picked us to win anywhere from 7 - 11 games... really doesn't know where He stands, and what he thinks.
I mean that 7- 11 wins really nails it down on how good You thought we'd be. LoL

    You are spreading misinformation.

Pruit & Heyward have less than 2% of the team targets. That is about 3 total passes on Wilson's total attempts. And those 3 passes are spread over 8 games. Patterson has been targeted 13 times, or about 1 per game.

The real problem is that those guys are not much better blocking than they are receiving. That's a drag on this offense.

I thought we would win anywhere from 0 to 17 games before the season started.
