Sounds like TJ Watt went in the blue tent to get his ankle Taped up.
At that point of the game, there was no reason to risk putting him back in the game on an injured ankle. The fact that he got taped up and considered, it probably means the injury is not as bad as it could’ve been.

they showed him walking fine on the way to the locker room. a good sign but walking and bending the edge could be 2 different things. hope not.

Especially this week. Watt has been a huge part of the Steelers' success against Lamar Jackson.

And injuries commonly feel much worse the next day when the swelling shows up

Sometimes the initial swelling can interfere with a proper diagnosis, too. I assume they will have Watt get an MRI today. That should help provide some clarity. Unless it was a hell of a lot less than it seemed, I think it is a safe bet he won't be ready to go on a short rest. I just can't see them beating the Ravens without Watt, especially if Elliott and Pickens are still out, too.

We have 5 injuries to worry about this week. I’m pretty sure GP will be out. Watt seems like it’s up in the air. Jackson Larry O and Elliot I have no clue. This is not including Fields.

On the replay, appears he injured it himself while attacking? Initially I though oh no....achilles, so glad it sounds like an ankle sprain. Fingers crossed it's a minor one.

Good news is that it’s not season ending. Bad news is if he misses 1 or 2 games it likely costs us the chance at a home playoff game. I really really wanted that this year because winning on the road against a decent team like Houston or Baltimore is so difficult.

Good. And agreed, going to be an uphill battle to secure home field.

I wouldn’t expect any of these guys to practice today. I think tomorrow will be a better indicator. 2 DNP in a row for any of them means they are probably out on a short week.

Agreed. I wonder if Tomlin will play it conservative knowing they can still win the division by beating the Chiefs and Bengals, especially knowing that Mahomes might miss that game.

Larry O was limited the rest out as anticipated. Tomorrow will be an important day to see if any might be able to go.

Apparently Watt and Elliott were both on the field today working on their own. Fingers crossed.

According to the forecast, this will be a run early and often game. High winds will slow down deep passing and kicking.

    Have to tackle.

Looks like Watt and Larry O were limited. The others are still out and would assume none are playing. Just brutal to lose Pickens all this time.

you mean - like what I suggested as "THE PLAN"?

IF PICKENS and TJ are out, he would be WISE to consider.....

Losing Elliot another week really hurts too. Sounding hopeful for TJ at least.

It's seems almost impossible for the Steelers to score more than 13 points without Pickens.

Yeah, I find it hard to believe that we would score many points without Pickens out there. The defense is just going to load the box and dare our WR's to get open. I will say with the loaded box, I would expect another stinker from Najee. He does horribly into the stacked box. I'd love to see us play more Warren this week and spread them out some. Run out of the shotgun, or feature throwing to him out of the backfield. We're going to have to soften them up and coming out with 3 wide, a split TE and a heavy dose of Warren would definitely be something they wouldn't expect. Game plan around our deficiencies and see what happens.

The game plan you just described was exactly what they were discussing on 93.7 The Fan today. The Ravens are going to expect the Steelers to stubbornly try and force Harris up the middle on first and second down and have the Steelers in a lot of 3rd and 7 situations. Arthur Smith needs to completely abandon that and come out throwing to set up the run later.
