We were soft yesterday. Eagles were swinging punches and head slapping. The Eagles intimidated us and we didn't respond.

The refs said Austin threw a punch but somehow the two Eagles players who threw punches didn't get penalized, make it make sense.

I was there, granted I was in the super nose bleed section but I watched the bench with a spyglass and the Steeler players were fired up and pissed off. I wouldn't say they looked intimidated at all. I watched Tomlin calming down quite a few during the game.

Steelers got robbed by personal foul penalties for punches thrown.... that should have been offset on both teams. The Steelers sucked as a team yesterday... but I don't think they were intimidated.

Eagles are not that good! Penalties called on us were unreal! That was not tripping on Frazier! And if najee does not fumble we could of had a chance to win!!

I don’t think so. They just got beat by a better team with a healthier roster. It happens. I saw a lot of fight in that team but offensively they couldn’t get going.
The game is 60 minutes and not 45. 1st qtr was pure garbage offensively.

I don’t think we were intimidated we just are not in that class of football. Eagles could easily win it all this year.

Im all about sticking up for teammates, solidarity and such but Washington has a size, weight advantage over Slay and needs Austin's help like I do which is not. Wrong time to think your Stone Cold and not little man Austin. Maybe he is carrying a chip around after the Browns and Bengals roughed him up.

The LB flopped, but Frazier tripped him. Was very unnecessary as the play wasn’t close to him

I mean his leg got him, but he was falling over backwards. There's only so many ways his leg could have ended up while falling the way he was. I've never seen anyone tuck it.

I mean... there was no lack of backbone nor lack of fight from the Steelers as far as I could tell. Thing is, Philly's trenches, on both sides, are just better than Pittsburgh's; doubly so on the Offensive Line. What Philly is now is what both Omar Khan and Andy Weidl are building the Steelers to someday be.

What doomed the Steelers yesterday was poor coaching and poor execution.

The Steelers OL didn't let Jalen Carter wreck the game, the Eagles OL had their hands full with the Steelers front seven three of them left the game with injuries.

True but the TOP states otherwise. Let's not forget that both Broderick Jones and Dan Moore both got beat pretty good by Nolan Smith and Josh Sweat; two speed rushers that are notoriously difficult to stop. As far as Jalen Carter goes?! Fair enough.

He did impact a couple of running plays however. Regardless, I am proud of how both Frazier and McCormick handled themselves today. If it wasn't obvious to some before the game, it is obvious now; Pittsburgh has a foundation with the likes of McCormick and Frazier.

Here is hoping Troy Fautanu can get back on track in 2025. I believe in him very much so.

Time of Pos 40 to 20 minutes, 401 to 163 total yards, we had a whopping 56 rushing yards. we had 5 penalties called, Eagles had 7. They had 26 first downs, we had 10. We had 1 turnover, they had 2.

A couple if stupid penalty calls or not, one fumble by Nagee or not, we got out ass handed to us. They held the ball nearly the entire 2nd half, for not being that good...we were far worse.

I thought the officiating was poor, but I have no problem with the tripping call on Frazier. He was going down and he did kick his leg up to trip the defender. It was a sneaky move and he got caught.

I agree to a point, but the screw up on the fight in the end zone might have cost the Steelers four points. The fumble cost them at least three when they were down by only seven. Incorrectly ruling that Carter whacked Heyward in the head happened after the punt when it was clearly before cost the Steelers a first down inside the Eagles' 35 early in the fourth quarter. The Eagles were the better team, but those plays played a big role in the loss, too.

Fautanu better turn out to be a stud because the decision to pass on Mitchell to take him is costing the Steelers dearly this season and likely will for a long time to come.
