I saw that. It's his job to win games. Bad look for sure. Imagine going to your boss after screwing something up and saying let's not get all dramatic about it. Indicates a sense of entitlement that's probably valid but shouldn't be.

 

The Steelers were thoroughly outplayed, but the officiating was once again inexcusably bad. I can understand missing the punches live, but to look at that video and claim there were no punches thrown is incompetence on a monumental scale. It is a very bad look for the league.

 

Uhh....You do know that 14th game of a 17 game season is not in the middle of the season right???

 

Ok You are correct. They are not NFL teams, and everyone we beat has not beaten other NFL teams.
People get this through your heads.....they are all NFL teams. This is not college football, and the SEC vs mountain west.

 

Of course it is....didn't you know that Tomlin, Najee, and Wilson has lost all of those games....all the way back to 1965.

 

this is sort of like......Mountain West, until yesterday. No reason to have have lost to the Dolts and CryGirls - 2 of the leagues bottom feeders as we know.

we are NOW playing tough teams, we all knew it was coming. Wash is a decent team. Credit there, and Bengirls on the road was impressive.

 

You mean like how the Ravens lost to the raiders, and to the Browns, or Bills lost to the Rams. You mean like that. They are all NFL teams. If You take them lightly, have injuries at key positions, or it's not your day......You can, and will lose to any team in the NFL.

Yes I do know it’s near the end but still no team has ever or will ever do what your are purposing before a game. I’m not even saying your logic is 100% wrong either but teams don’t think that way. TOMLIN still had Watt playing down 14 with 5 mins left!

 

Tomlin only lost with Cowhers players.....

Because I already have a few that jumps to mind.
I even know one that gave up a perfect season 3 games out to rest players.

And I guess since we lost since 65 Noll did it with Austin's players, and Cowher lost with Nolls players.

It doesn't help that they lost two key players going into the game. With the rest of the receiving corps being so weak, losing Pickens is crippling for the offense. Elliott has been one of their best defenders all season. Even with all that and the crappy start, they were in the game until an uncharacteristic mistake by Harris.

They were really bad yesterday, but that doesn't mean they couldn't win if given another shot at that team. The 2008 team suffered an ugly loss in Philadelphia, too. If you want a better example, the Colts kicked the crap out of the 2005 team during the regular season, then the Steelers beat them in the playoffs.

Actual screen capture of the footage showing the punt after the hit. So that's 2 instances where they went to video and NY to change the calls which were absolutely incorrect. Had the call correct on the field and then coming back from commercial with a totally different call.

I know they got out played, but this team has shown they can get out played at times and still win games on sheer will. You can't do that with stacking these types of calls though.

 

At the time when the Steelers lost to those teams they weren't exactly bottom feeders then.
