    I realize it’s tough for some to be excited about the playoff birth following a loss @ Philly but im just happy it’s official now….especially bc wins are far from guaranteed in these upcoming gauntlet of games.

    That 90 plus yard drive on our D says a lot..after that punt we never saw the ball again.
    I have nothing to be excited about..hot head players getting baited into creating stupid penalties, especially when you the offense is struggling

    It does feel good to clinch this early. Usually going into the last game we have to win and hope 2 or 3 other teams lose to get in.

    And how do you suppose a trip to Buffalo will go if we get the 7 seed?

    I’d rather have the opportunity

    Do you vaguely remember us being a #6 seed not so many years ago

    Chargers are two games behind us and we hold the tiebreaker I think it’s likely we get the 6 seed and travel back to Baltimore.

    This team isn’t even close to as good as that one.

    Yes. We suck and won’t win a playoff game for yet another season.

    Playoff road now

    @Baltimore
    @Buffalo
    @KC.

    I second that. Plus give TJ time to rest. CAM and we need GP

    We’d likely get blown out. Still, would you rather not of at least clinched today knowing that we can still tilt the cards in our favor regarding seeding ? We still have 3 games left, albeit difficult. The Baltimore game will be the one we gotta have. I’d be estatic just to get a home playoff game.

    I mean it’s clearly good to have clinched early but limping into the playoffs now likely on the road….. not good.

    so - if we somehow tie with Balt in the DIVISION, and assume we Beat the Bengals the last week, don't we win the DIVISION?
    Rats can lose to CLE or HOU, just as we can lose to RATS and KC still...

    but assume both at 11-6, or 12-5........

    yes - as has been stated somewhere before, it is not how you start a season, but how you FINISH that matters....

    If we only beat Cincy we would need Baltimore to lose at least 1 more game.

    About the same way it went last year, although I didn't even get to see a play of that game because I was working due the re-schedule.

    yes - they can, they are far from perfect.

    CLE and HOU will play them tough, HOU on Christmas, for a playoff spot......

    I actually don’t think we will fall to 7. Chargers would have to go 3-0 and that’s probably not happening. We will be the 6 and go back to Baltimore.

    Unless you have a very understanding wife, if you have a playoff birth, you're going to miss the game!

    The Broncos and the Chargers are going to likely be the 6th and 7th seeds, the Steelers have the tiebreaker over both teams :shrug:.
