I honestly don’t know how anyone will ever stop it consistently. Maybe a polamalu jump over the top? But even that would have to be perfectly timed

 

Not per se, but going for it on 4th and 1 from the Pitt 30, then still throwing after that with under four minutes is trash football.

 

I mean they weren’t amazing on third down early. But I think they may have be on the field for 58 minutes. lol jk. Offense was trash today. Defense needs to get off the field on third down though.

That's awesome. LoL. For the 500th time. That's why the coaches take them out. Again stop acting like we haven't seen coaches take player out of games that didn't matter. I can give You 100 examples of it. How about we put 500 real dollars on it.

 

This team will be a first game out whether it’s a wildcard or win the division. We just 0 offense when we face a team with a formidable defense! Ravens game could be embarrassing! You better believe they will be jacked since the media has talked about the recent past head to head!

 

Teryl Austin knows very little other than rush 4 and drop everyone else into a zone that they can’t execute well.

I asked one of the UT coaches about the Pittsburgh zone 6-7 years ago. He said it’s not difficult to beat at all when you don’t teach it well. He loved Tomlin and thought he was a great leader of men, but he didn’t think his teaching was that great. It was an interesting conversation. That guy was super sharp, won’t say his name, but he’s been a college coach and NFL coach for a long time. Is currently in the SEC at a different school.

He was pretty upfront with me because I had done surgery a few weeks prior on a family member. Just told me….”doc, please don’t ever quote me”. Lol. We were having a drink during the off season close to campus. Was easier for him.

They got worn out. Offense needed to sustain some drives and they didn't. After that 3rd quarter opening they needed a rest Offense gave them less than 3 minutes before they were right back out there!

Nobody does this before a game but when we went down 14 in the 4th he certainly should have taken starters out. Watt probably done now because of his stupidity.

Yeah that's why we are 10-4. Because it's so easy to beat, or why we led the league in turnovers, because it's so easy to beat. This is as dumb as the teams that played us saying our offense was easy to beat, and then lose to us.

 

It’s next week’s game that matters. Steelers win and the div is over. Hopefully Pickens and Watt are healthy.

Philly would have been a nice win, but in the grand scheme of things, NFC games just don’t matter that much.

That sucked. We gotta move on. Just pray TJ is okay. And one thing is very important, we need Pickens back. ASAP.

 

Losing Pickens is huge, but the defense didn't give the offense a chance in that second half. The Steelers only got the ball twice. They moved it both times, but that fumble was a killer. They had opportunities to be in this game at the end, but blew them with the fumble and terrible tackling.
