The problem is. This defense looks great against really bad teams then gets dismantled against halfway decent teams. Don’t wanna hear about being tired. Eagles first drive they marched right down the field.

 

Better think about big picture here and keep Russ healthy and get fields in there. This is over.

As far as I can remember it's always a penalty fest and a defensive line beat down on the Steelers in the first half in Philly.

Yup. The Eagles are kicking the Steelers' asses, but they have gotten a little help from the officials.

 

Yeah, not good enough. Unfortunately our defense isn’t quite good enough to stop the good offenses from scoring points. Just get a few turnovers and hope the offense doesn’t look like it does today

 

Yup. He absolutely can't change direction like that to block defender. That's not a legit route

 

If the offense continues to put our defense back out on the field so quickly it's going to be a long long night. The more The offense goes three and out The more exposure you're giving your defense and chances for the eagles offense to figure our schemes out. Not to mention how tired these guys are going to be. The offense has to hold it's freaking water.

 

We don't talk about 2020. I think there's a pandemic asterisk around every game that season - or at least that seems to be how NFL fans have come to collectively view that "special" year in retrospect.
