If you can rebuild a gas engine you can work on an electric car. I have no interest in one at this point, but I’m sure I’ll have to get one some day. And you’re not that old are you?

I think you just unplug them, wait ten seconds and plug them in again. Works for my router, how different can it be?

I told my niece to do the same thing for me if I’m ever in the hospital

I'd totally own a EV if my local infrastructure had better EV support. All of my lawn and garden equipment is battery powered. Best sh!t since sliced bread.

2 reasons I can't justify EV at the moment. Rural infrastructures are the last to get any new technology. EVs are still not affordable to the average middle class citizen. When the demand goes up, that will change.

Way different beast, and one I spent My whole life around, and learned, the other I just looked at one , and was confused. Hell it won't matter to many of the new generation, because I've seen 20 year old guys now, who don't even know how to change a flat..
In My family You weren't allowed to drive until You could, change a flat, change your own oil, Jump start the vehicle, check the oil, and coolant/antifreeze, and many other little things that may cause You problems on the road. It's whole different type people today.

Made the mistake of telling my 11 yr old daughter how her mother had been tricked by her dad and brother when she was growing up with the blinker fluid gag. She then saw a TikTok video that showed someone's blinker fluid being low and said see it is a thing dad. I said no dear that is someone taillight cluster than has a leak and heavy rain got in.

I used to rebuild and modify engines

Now I don’t even know how to change the spark plugs on my car

Come to think of it I don’t even know if my car has spark plugs

If it's a combustible engine, and it's not a diesel. It has a spark plug. Problem is they got covers on everything today, so things aren't easily seen anymore.

I watch some of those videos of people trying to repair cars and it is crazy.

$14.95 for the new Thermostat, and $14,000 for the labor to remove the entire front of the car to replace the thermostat.

If you can afford a Bentley, you can afford the repairs.

Third episode. Starting to feel like they're letting it affect their speeches and preparation. This episode sounds like a lot of preparation for sound bites on camera. It's just too forced this week.

I had to do the easy thing of replacing a bulb in one of My trucks. I had to spend 30 mins just removing stuff to get to it. 20 seconds to put it in, and another 30 mins putting everything back in its spots. LoL. Had it been on the driver side....I could have just unplugged one, and put in the other.

My nephew in law always has to have a new car and something he can show off

He bought my niece without asking a Jaguar SUV

Then he found out just the annual maintenance was $1,000 a year

And my niece didn't even want it

I was the best man at a wedding and had to be there at 4 and drive there

Mid morning I saw nothing wrong with deciding to remove my transmission and replace the clutch

    Now not so much

That was hard for me to watch. My friends who get HBO/MAX looked forward to episode 3. It's the only one they will watch. Their Eagle fans, and they want to see their Birds on HK. I told them it's not worth it.
