Najee Harris Appreciation Thread

They don't trust Warren as more than a third-down and change of pace back. If they did, they wouldn't be allowing Patterson to steal carries and snaps from him.

Harris looked damn dangerous against the Bengals, as he has in many games this season, and he is more likely to hold on to the ball.

I like Najee but I don't think he comes back. Too many other positions that need addressed via contract. We draft a RB 3rd or 4th round.

 

Everyone tells how Warren is always more dangerous, and Najee has no burst.....Yet when You look it's Najee with the longest runs, and Najee with the longest catches. Strange

No....the least You handle something the higher Your average should be....not opposite. Look at most backup RBs, and then look when they become full time. Their average goes down....not up.

Najee won't get 12 million from the Steelers, I agree they should've picked up his 5th year option for under 7 million.

 

Huh? Harris has been among the top 10 in the NFL in rushing yards twice in his career. He was fourth as a rookie and seventh last season.

Runs of 40 or more yards are relatively rare in the NFL. Saquon Barkley is the only back with more than three. I'm not sure three plays would be a good reason to start one back over another.

A better measure is runs of 20-plus yards. Harris has seven this season, which ties him with Joe Mixon and Jonathan Taylor for fifth-most in the NFL. In 2023, he tied De'Von Achane for fourth in runs of 20-plus yards with eight.

 

No freaking way this can't be true. I've been told He has no vision, no burst, and no speed......how could this be even possible???? LoL

 

Looks like he’s running in quick sand most the time but he’s still an above average overall RB.

They are Hella fun. There was one in Florida that was wild, and one of our band mates was way bigger than the rest of us, and everytime the track went up hill, and over the other track.....everyone would over lap him. LoL

 

I wouldn't say it bothers people so much as we are certain it isn't true. The Steelers know it, too. That is why Harris is the starter. It is also why Warren didn't even get more of the load against the Bengals when Harris was sick. Instead, they gave Harris's snaps to Patterson.

How about the stuff like He has the longest of the twos run, he has the longest of the two catch, and he's only .2 yards behind in Ave per carry......even though He has run it almost 3 time as many times.
