I am assuming Bill signed here, so his young girlfriend can get a discount on her tuition.

 

This will be interesting to watch. Put football to the side for a second. This is a70+ year old trying to connect with and recruit 18 year olds. The transfer portal will be his best friend. Even with all his NFL success,I would bet he'll be on somewhat of a short leash.

I'll eat my words on this, another thread I mentioned he could not be serious. Dan Patrick said his sources stated the Chairman of the board of trustees sought him out, that the NIL budget was increasing 500%, and that this was to elevate the school for future consideration in the SEC or Big 10. The reported schedule next year is very favorable so he might get the wins to grow the program, but I can't see the Bill we have known for decades relating with these kids. Maybe he will, but this is a strange choice.

It was reported he can leave any time after a certain date in June. He burnt bridges in the NFL and this is where he is at, but still feel this temporary and if an owner gets desperate in 26 he is back in the league.
