I don't, but there are many people that do, and even take mini vacations to attend.

I’d be surprised if they don’t get a nice check.

I understand what you are saying but I always watch my team and want to see them do well. Especially if it's an opportunity to see younger guys who will likely be getting a lot more playing time next year.

Look at the stands in these bowl games, most of them are half MT.

Each bowl has a minimum payout, in the past the amount at times barely (if that) the expense of sending the team. Some had agreements with conferences that a minimum number if tickets had to be purchased by the university. IDK about other conferences but the Big 10 has a pool that every team in the conference gets it share of revenue, even if they don't make a bowl. The bottom line for the school and conference is exposure, get the name out and hope it sticks somewhere, lol

That is probably the one thing that coach's would agree on. Especially with guys going into the draft opting out of so many of these games, the bowls give them another month of practice and a chance to put next years guys into a game.

After a week of listening to many talk shows, the dissatisfaction from many different corners should bring changes. From what I understand then can tweak some things, but any real change may not come for 2 years as it now requires a unamious vote from the board that governs this.

There is a lot for them to discuss about this going forward. I like the ideas of using the minor bowls, but giving home games also has some allure to it. I think following some of the BB tournament system has some merit. Conference champions get it, but still seed the top teams in order for byes. If the money is there it might go to 14, have a play in game(s) between 11-13 and 12-14, or eliminate 2 byes and play 3-14 and go from there. You can't extend the season forever, and the argument for the teams not getting in becomes less viable (even this year) when 3 loss teams did not get picked as opposed to a no loss team getting left out when they had only 4 spots, but as you stated using the entire bowl structure in these games brings more attention, ratings, and neutral fields adds more drama. One of the issues is will fans travel for 3 or even 4 games to distant locations? Also look at possibly re-seeding after each round.

Needs to be like the NFL
Top seed always plays the lower seed

Hope it will change but then i always thought they should do that for at least the final four in bball

silly sometimes 2 1 seeds play in one game and the other might have a 2 and a 5 or whatevs

I wonder if bracket pools have a role in that. Those basketball bracket pools generate a lot of interest in games that fans would otherwise not care about

    Great point.
I really meant the Final Four alone.
Would still have the 2 teams picked in the championship game and champion after picking final four though
no matter of seating in final four.
    No?

Here’s something…. Why is portal open during or right before CFP and bowl games??
As @S.T.D@S.T.D found out with Arkansas, teams are losing players before their bowl games. Sucks

Nothing will ever match March Madness… greatest event ever
One year, Gamecocks men made it to final four! Was bedlam here in Columbia! Than we lost a close game to Gonzaga! True story

Gamecocks had to scrape up NIL money to sign, yes sign a couple of key players for next year! I really don’t like this new setup. You have no idea what players you are going to have each season.
College basketball with the one and done sucks too!

Hell it's harder to root for a player I'm college now more than the NFL. At least in the NFL you may have him for 4, or 5 years.
    In college....maybe a year

PSU will be using A true Freshman back up if Allar goes down. Their back up QB
entered the portal and is not eligible for playoffs.
