I just wanted to get this thing step...even though we're a good ways away from the Steelers picking.

OK just to get this up to date on the basic rules of this. ANYONE can vote no matter if your in on the mock or not. ONE vote per person. We we generally open voting within 2-3 or so picks before the Steelers. If the person you vote for gets taken before the Steelers pick...you CAN change your pick to someone available. The player with the most votes wins. Also we will be considering trades to move down/etc in the draft...based on votes also.

    Thats pretty much it...its simple!

Man this is really a worst case scenario. If I were controlling Steelers I'd have been working hard to move up a few spots to take Ansah. Mingo has bust written all over him in my opinion.

    I'll vote WR, Cordarelle Patterson.
He's very raw but is one of the few WR's in this draft that has the potential to become a true #1.

I'm with Patterson as well. We have semi-adequate LB depth, but none at WR.

I was just thinking that, SBD. I'm struggling to vote because the obvious pick isn't there for me.

My top two, Jarvis Jones and Ezekiel Ansah, are off the board. My pick...

    TYLER EIFERT
    TIGHT END
    NOTRE DAME

This may be a little high and ideally I'd trade back and try to pick him up, but I'm keeping it simple. Heath is one of my favorite Steelers but I'm concerned about the knee.

Have to stick to my big board and go with Barkevious Mingo. I don't really want him, but it's the Steeler way to go bpa.

Been going back and forth about what side of the ball to address first in round 1, there are a couple defensive guys I'm really coveting but I think it's time Ben gets his toy, I'm going with Justin Hunter, I think he is better then Patterson and will be a big time receiver in the league.

I'm not involved in the mock draft, but I saw any one can vote. Seeing who's left I think Damontre Moore is BPA. So thats my vote.

I think with the depth WR has in round 2 that LB would be the pick here. And I dont see an ILB worth this spot...or a trade down partner....so I'll go with OLB Moore. (Thanks for getting this up and runnin/etc numbah)

Oops, think I screwed up, didn't realize this was in connection with the other thread, is there a board somewhere in that thread of players we get to choose from?
