Steelers Vs Browns Gameday Thread

Has Najee ever converted an important short yardage situation. It was almost automatic with Leveon Bell.

 

Doesn’t matter. We have no WR’s. Nobody is getting open, and without the need to double 14 every play there is just less space out there for the other guys. If we don’t run all over them, it’s going to be hard to move the ball

 

it drives me nuts eveytime.

 

Yet no one but Garrett is worth a damn on the current Browns' defense. Just silly

 

He’s too slow for it. We need someone who gets to top speed by the time they hit the line. I have noticed us bring Warren in for short yardage a lot more than we used to tho. It’s the right call.

 

No elite deep threat since Pickens is out

 

Sitting Pickens was a mistake. The reports were he could have played. The Steelers gave a game away being cautious, which is really stupid given the strength of the rest of the schedule.

 

Why is 3rd and 2 or 3rd and 1 never converted? I can't remember the last time Steelers converted a short yardage 3rd down.

The Steelers could help him out by not pitching the ball to him 5 yards back.

Then get the ball to Muth or Darnell, or more short passes to Najee and Warren

 

That simply isn't true, but running him outside in short yardage was just stupid. Get him going downhill inside behind Frazier and one of those guards.

It's al,so incredibly predictable.

 

Just got home and turned the game on about ten mins ago. Also just learned Pickens is "out". My initial impression is that the vibe feels off. Hopefully they can turn that around!

 

Warren is a risk to fumble though. Neither Harris or Warren are backs built for the pitch play.

 

normally want Warren out there cause he has burst to either make people miss tackles.

 

We just don't match up well against the Browns. If we lose today then it will be 3 losses in our last 4 games against them, and the one win was when our defense had to score 2 TD's to win the game.
