I like Najee but I don't think he comes back. Too many other positions that need addressed via contract. We draft a RB 3rd or 4th round.

 

Everyone tells how Warren is always more dangerous, and Najee has no burst.....Yet when You look it's Najee with the longest runs, and Najee with the longest catches. Strange

No....the least You handle something the higher Your average should be....not opposite. Look at most backup RBs, and then look when they become full time. Their average goes down....not up.

discussing big play capabilities. big play 'potential' - AKA - home run hitters. Najee is not in top 10 again, for what, his 4th season now? in yards and in average? It's not all him - I get it. OLINE short comings, etc....

Najee won't get 12 million from the Steelers, I agree they should've picked up his 5th year option for under 7 million.

 

Huh? Harris has been among the top 10 in the NFL in rushing yards twice in his career. He was fourth as a rookie and seventh last season.

Runs of 40 or more yards are relatively rare in the NFL. Saquon Barkley is the only back with more than three. I'm not sure three plays would be a good reason to start one back over another.

A better measure is runs of 20-plus yards. Harris has seven this season, which ties him with Joe Mixon and Jonathan Taylor for fifth-most in the NFL. In 2023, he tied De'Von Achane for fourth in runs of 20-plus yards with eight.
