Will this finally be the year?

The Steelers have never won a game in Philadelphia in my entire lifetime. 1965 was the last time they won in that city. Let’s get that monkey off our backs!

Still waiting on Mike Williams, it does not have to be a lot, but getting him involved more successfully can really help the team in this brutal next few weeks.

 

In the last 3 years Falcons, 49ers, Cardinals, Saints and Commanders have all won in Philly. No reason why we can't.

 

To be honest ....if we beat all the teams in our division games the 2nd time though....I don't care if we beat Philly, or not. We aren't going undefeated the rest of the year, and if I can pick one team I'd rather lose to....it would be a NFC eagles game.

 

He had his 1st real shot in that play that Muth caught a td, but the safety cheated toward him , and left Muth wide open for the TD, and Russell picked the easiest shot, correctly.

 

If they have to lose a gam I'd be less upset over a non-conference foe.

 

Funny part is - that was a horrid Steelers team around then and they managed a 2-12 record losing their first 5 and last 7 with back to back W's in the middle vs Eagles in Philly and Cowboys at home. Philly wasn't much better though at 5-9 and Dallas at 7-7. Weird.

I think they'll "upset" either the Chiefs or Eagles, but not both. I think they have a better chance of beating the Chiefs over the Eagles.

 

BETTER WIN AGAINST before we worry about Eagles---but since we beat we can lose to BROWNS and still be on pace for my prediction of 11-6--- but IF we can get Kenny into game against Eagles.Little hands wont beat us,,It would be a crying shame if he did.Anyway loss to Eagles is acceptable.right now...

 

Russell Wilson is 5-0 vs the Eagles for his career. 3-0 at Philly.

Steelers are long overdue to beat the Eagles. If there's ever been a good opportunity to beat the Eagles in Philly..... this is it. Eagles will be picked to win. Eagles offense has been nothing special even with the emergence of Saquon. Their defense is damn good, though. It will take an A game from Russ and the O-line to beat the Eagles.

Well maybe I'll bring luck. Steelers never lost when I went to see them in Philly. Yes it was a pre-season game but it was the start of something big. Joe Green had arrived.
