Agreed, but everyone knows the Defensive guys are actually the most talented players. The Offense has all the rules in their favor, and they actually know the plays that are coming.....while the Defensive play must be so good , that they can just react to any given play

I seen a hand grenade thrown after a td, and no flags thrown.

I get that take, but to me it just says they spin out of control here and by the time they leave they are useless.

Tomlin should be commended for getting what he did out of AB

Exactly. Also Look at DJ, M. Bryant, and Claypool . All who at one time were all somewhat successful here....as soon as we let then go, or traded them away.....poof....almost never heard from again.

The mind of a child in the body of a world class athlete. The Steelers seem to know when to get rid of such people. It would not surprise me one bit to see them trade him for a third rounder in the offseason. He has done dumb stuff, but nothing that has got him in legal trouble or cost the team a win. And we absolutely know that one or both of those is coming.
Tomlin does not get enough credit for getting the most out of someone who has pureed yams between their ears.

    May I ask how so?!

I agree that JPJs sophomore season has been more of ups and downs than I thought. I just want to know in what way is it worse than how George has been this season. Curious.

Seems like he has 2-3 penslities a game with some becoming 1st and goal for the opposing team

Well... he does have 14 total penalties on the year. Of those, 12 were in three games; six between Washington and Denver at three a piece and just last week against Cincy with six total in one game. Clearly he has not as clean as he was in his Rookie Campaign. That said, I do expect him to play better against Cleveland and Baltimore.

Now Philly and Kansas City?! You got me there. Gonna have to wait and see.

The issue is, can you put on paper 28 to 35 million a year with a huge guarantee to a guy like this. His play on the field, spectacular at times and I really believe the ceiling has not been reached, but the negative reactions signal the ceiling for that has not been reached either. Immaturity is one thing, being a moron is quite another.

Yep. And I think it will get worse, as it looks like teams have realized that they can goad or bait him. George’s best is very good, but I look for him to go down the familiar path of former Steelers head cases: Traded for a draft pick, less than stellar/disruptive with new team, quickly sent to a third team, maybe it happens again with a fourth team, finally released to never play again, with perhaps several years left in the tank.

This is one of the things I saw with Claypool when he was here. Not comparing the talent or production, at first he was getting a lot of calls in his favor on 'battles' balls, then it seemed like he was looking for that to happen. His efforts fell short and the natural talent he had diminished. I know a lot more goes into this, but if Pickens could get the attitude in check and the program he could be a top 10 or higher WR for years.

It may get worse as time goes on, kids coming out of high school are commanding and even demanding big NIL money. If he comes from a stable background and is with a good program the development and love for the sport can make his play not only stand out, but maturity will come. If the diva attitude in ingrained, it will likely get worse. I remember the reports from several players around AB when he got his first big payday, it was just a matter of time.

I moved out at 17, but I wasn't born in this same world as today. 500 things are different from when I was a kid to Today. Just like things were way different when My Grandfather grew up than when I did. It's a never ending changing world from morals to laws, and many other things.

I wouldnt put JuJu on this list. His big crime was dancing pregame. And he wrecked Birthdefct so he will always hold a special place in my heart.

The only thing Bell was guilty of was getting greedy.
