I wonder how much that had to do with Carolina's current prospects. They were not good, even with Dalton slinging it. Looked like a potential staff cleansing ahead and another complete rebuild. I can't say I'd blame anyone for wanting out. That being said it's better to behave on a losing squad than to show that your not worth a team taking a look at you in the off season.

What a clown? Could you imagine telling your boss that I’m not going to what is necessary to help the company? The door should be shut for DJ permanently in the NFL from here on out. Completely burned the bridge IMO.

 

He's a free agent after this year. He's costing himself a lot of money. He'll be lucky to get above a 1-year vet minimum deal.

 

I keep hearing this, but why do you think DJ is going to immediately know Arthur Smith's playbook, or have chemistry with Russell Wilson? We are still waiting for Mike Williams to start showing up with in game stats and it has been like a month now.

I am still a DJ fan, because of his route running skills, but I think in this new offense he wouldn't be a plug in play for a few weeks.

Good luck to him trying to find a team that is going to put up with his entitlement. He should go find a nice park bench somewhere and sit and feed pigeons the rest of his life. I would hope that the NFL sees him for what he is. A toddler who is still crying for his rattle.

 

Because He knows the team, and they know Him. People act like there are different plays in the world....there are different names for the same stuff...., and the Guys that play with him before would know the old names of the same routes....they could translate to him., and again....I'm not a DJ fan.

 

We would need a WR whisperer to find that answer.

LOL... Until Russel Wilson calls an audible... and then your WR is like WTF does that mean???

The WR breaks to the left, the QB throws it to the right, and it is a quick pick 6 because the WR does not know the audible that was just called. If you watch game film you will see this all the time, when the QB is actually throwing the ball before the receiver makes his break.

Then you don’t give him those timing routes. His specialty is the red zone and using his big frame to catch contested passes. Get him some targets. This isn’t Rocket science.

 

Actually last week He had one coming His way, but as soon a glanced that way....the DB cheated over the top that way, and left Muth wide open, and Russell threw Him the TD.
