In the beginning, good always overpowered the evils of all man's sins
But in time, the nations grew weak
And our cities fell to slums while evil stood strong
In the dusts of hell lurked the blackest of hates
For he who you fear awaits you
    Now, many, many lifetimes later
Lay destroyed, beaten down, only the corpses of rebels
Ashes of dreams and blood stained streets
It has been written that those who have the youth, have the future.
So come now STEELERS of the north.
Be strong and beat the browns.

Allowing Garrett to move all over the place with mismatches is smart coaching. Running TJ Watt into the same double and triple teams is really dumb coaching.

It is but having players line up in their traditional position and executing has been basic coaching for decades. Imagine Reggie White's numbers if they moved him all over the place. Like I said I'm tired of his crying about his stolen "moment" take solace in the fact you make millions playing a game and not in jail for assault with a deadly weapon.

Even these elite pass rushers don't get double teamed at the snap as much as some seem to think. You just can't commit help like that most downs.

If TJ prefers rushing from the left, let him rush from the left.

I saw a stat from the last game vs the Browns. TJ rushed the passer a total of 28 times. The Browns had 55 offensive snaps. So about half his snaps he rushed the passer.

I don't think this is true, but it's JMO. When TJ is, and he is, pulling Double team, and triple teams ....this should be freeing up other players. The Browns do it out of Desperation.

Maybe it's my black and gold blood, or maybe I'm a little cynical, but the whole JW schtick is a big eye roll for me. Seems a little too over the top...and a Steelers QB making jokes about multiple pick 6s on the podium after the game would not sit well with me.

Maybe I'm getting older and crankier. My co-workers who are younger and non-Steelers fan think he's so great!

Winston threw for 500 yards and Juedy had 235 of them. You have to take any team seriously that can put up those numbers.

It's going to force Minkah and Elliot to help over the top and everyone needs to velcro to their man. That in turn means no help on run support for the front seven vs Chubb and the pass rush needs to get home with 4.

I don't like this personally...rushing 4 is not the way IMO.

It's not but they have to account for Nojoku so that takes Queen or Wilson. Chubb on screens and wheel routes means potentially one of the inside backers or outside so it reduces the number you can pressure with. They can do 5 but need to be stuck like glue to everyone in the pattern.

Everyone (Steeler fans) I talked to after that game said same damn thing. Steelers brain trust has to know this. It's on film. I didn't see Tomlins press conference about that game. I wonder if it was mentioned to him?? I'd love to hear his answer for that.

I understand you're trend of thought on this subject. You made a post about it awhile back and it does make sense. With TJ getting the attention of 2 sometimes 3 guys it should free up the other guys but it doesn't seem to happen enough.

Deep, I liked it. Is it written that youth is the future? Was Whitney Houston right believing the children are the future?

Of frigging course the children are the future. What are we going to do, eat them before they get to grow old?

I will never understand the Guy. He has a great arm, can move very well in the pocket, but does some of the stupidest stuff You will ever see in a game.

I think he is a even bigger gunslinger that Brett Favre!

Of course not as good that Favre was in his prime, but in term of gunslinger Winston is likely the biggest of all-time!
