No,5 minutes drive on offense for a FG and the bengals had also take their final 3 timeout in that steelers drive

LoL....Well I'm realistic....the Broncos who many on here have told me we're better than the Steelers Defense gave up 41 to the Ravens....we gave up 16, the Broncos gave up 32 to the Browns....we gave up 24. So You see....no matter how good Your D is teams will score.

The Broncos defense had also 2 TD vs Browns and they were not in the snow....

Blitzing opens up rushing lanes for rbs. Almost every big run that has happened with us, and most teams are when You Blitz.

They still gave up 32 points as You , and @Formerscribe@Formerscribe would say.
I totally agree the 2 tds should show that their D is good, but somehow when I use that example for our D ....some people on here don't agree, and say ,,but they still gave up so, and so points.....so I'm just using those people's words against them.

If Highsmith returns against the Browns, I don't think Winston will get too comfortable.

They don't suck at it.....sometimes players get greedy, especially when they have a lead, and think they can make a play that takes them out of the position they were supposed to be in. I can point to 4 times this happened Sunday. Instead of just playing what's called.

Winston will also turn the ball over 2-3 times a game, I also think the Steelers will get more than one sack against Winston this game.

To be fair, the Broncos have given up fewer points per game even with last night's stinker.

Well against our Division they have given up....16 against us(with Fields at Qb), 41 against the Ravens, and 32 against the Browns, and they still must play the Bengals. So in every one of those games they have given up more than we have against those same opponents.

Our defense have been dominant outside for only 2 games since week 4.Yes this is possible to still have a dominant defense....Look at the eagles since week 6 or the chiefs last season

The steelers gave up 26 PPG in the last 4 games....Not good. The garbage bengals defense in the entire season gave up 29 points per game or only 3 more PPG that the steelers in the last 4 games

Good thing they don't break down seasons in 4 games when you have played 12. Example: Let's do Broncos D against the AFCN 2 games.....41 points, and 32 points.....Wow....that would make them one of the worst Ds in the league. See that's why You can't do that.

I just don't want a 2017 repeat. In 2017,they had a strong start on defense but huge collapse after that....The injury of Shazier was a huge reason why but they had also gave up too many big play in some game before like the one vs packers with a weak backup QB

This is the hope the D can be better if he is healthy....The difference of PPG is massive also with and without him.....This defense rely a bit too much on their OLB,not just Watt

This defense is more talented than they were in 2017, they're top 3 in creating turnovers I believe.

That and the fact the Steelers are 3-3 this season when Highsmith has missed games. They're 6-0 when he's played, recording 19 tackles and 3 sacks.

Is the Steelers defense one of the best in the NFL? Yes.
Did the Steelers defense struggle to cover downfield against the Bengals? Yes.
Both things can be true. There are no dominant defenses in the NFL anymore. Any NFL defense can be gashed these days.
