I don't recall, maybe I say 3-4, you know, off the cuff Mr. strict, but when I do show them and they take a close look they see 28 points over 9 games. Way more impressive.

those are the top 7 defenses in order by points.

chargers gave up 27 to bengals and 30 to ravens.

    Broncos 41 to ravens

Detroit 29 to Vikings and 29 to Seahawks

    eagles 29 to packers

Vikings 29 to packers and 31 to lions

bills 28 to cards, 35 to ravens, 27 to dolphins

steelers 27 to colts 31 offense points to bengals 27 to commanders

All these defenses have weaknesses but also the ability to make plays.

Greatest team we had that didn't go all the way once Franco and Rocky went down. Just think of Joe could have had surgery to fix the disc issue that essentially limited him to one arm for a large chunk of his career.

Please don't use strawman arguments like that in response to my posts. You completely misrepresented what I was writing with that.

I'm not expecting them to be dominant every game. I'm expecting them to at least be decent. Giving up 31 points and completely collapsing late is not even decent. It isn't just that they allowed the Bengals to score two touchdowns late in the fourth quarter. They let them do it way too quickly. The first drive was 2:27, with the Bengals taking their time. They got the ball again with 3:53 remaining and no time-outs and managed to find the end zone in only 1:14. This included the blown coverage on the 49-yard pass to Chase. If you are going to back off and play zone, that simply cannot happen. There were way too many ugly mistakes and it wasn't the first time this season. They have given up big scoring drives late far too many times and they stunk in the losses to the Colts, Cowboys, and Browns.

Well that's good....because Buffalo, and KC haven't been as good as Ravens, Washington, or Bengals at putting up points. All teams we have beaten.

Buffalo is a way more balanced team that team like the commanders and bengals.Second on offense and 6th on defense in PPG and the Bills are also +17 in turnovers...This is the team to beat in the AFC right now

My biggest concern for this team is how this defense will perform come playoffs time since the last 5 playoffs game,it was ugly on defense

That's not what I said....We are talking about Defense, and the teams that put up points on Offense. Our team has faced 3 of the top 5 Offenses in scoring, and we have given up 30 points once.
It was said they about Mahomes, and Allen....neither whose teams are in the top 5 . If We can stop 3 of the top 5 scorers, we can stop the Bill, and or KC.

This is where stats can be deceiving -

At one point in the 4th quarter, the bengals had 24 points (17 from their offense), with 11 minutes left to play.

The Steelers played prevent the rest of the way and gave up a lot of garbage yards and points until the end of the game.

We can't worry about the playoffs now. We still have 5 regular season game to go, and anything can happen between then, and now......with our team, or any team. One terrible injury could change the fate of any team.

The 'gals have scored over 30 pts at will against a lot of teams this year. Chase alone had over nearly 500 yards (or did have) in 2 games alone. In the after game interviews a couple of times it was said they knew they were going to put up points, , definitely there are some things that need work, but this was not a game where they were out coached and lucky to win, Burrows and hiw weapons are just that good.

I must have misread. Still we have faced 3 of the top 5, and beat them all.

The Bills look legitimate and hungry, the Chiefs can get there because of Reid and Mahomes, but really have not looked impressive. I think the Steelers can play with anyone, but think all phases have to be working in a game to take them there.

The Bills and Chiefs don't have a WR duo like Chase and Higgins.

Really puts the defensive woes into perspective when people start talking about our defense being bad against Cinci.
