Steelers streak continues

With the win today.
The Steelers have a 21 season streak of finishing at .500 or above. Very impressive.

 

One more for most all time.

 

Oooo. I can't wait fir the trophy for that achievement !!!

 

You know, I've been critical of MT over the past few seasons for one reason or another (or several). But 21 seasons of above .500 is impressive no matter who you are. That means we are at least in the conversation consistently almost every season.

That being said, great job, coach. Now let's see if you can start putting together some playoff streaks. I mean, aside from that other one.

What`s the stat for most winning/non losing seasons in a row without winning a playoff game?

 

In the steelers streak,the steelers have won 2 super bowl,the same that the cowboys from 1965 to 1985

 

He has them in line to possibly get a home game which would be huge. Top WC goes to Houston which might not be too bad either.

The Steelers are also 21-4 in Cincinnati since the realignment. I heard that stat right after the game ended. 25 games on the Bengals home field and we have won 21. That's dominance!

 

2 more wins would give us 11 and a decent chance of being the #5 seed that would play at the Texans.

 

Today we are the 3 seed. We would host the 6. Right now that's the Chargers depending on what the Ravens do.

 

I know, don't look ahead, nothing for sure in the NFL but we beating the Browns. I said it about that Thursday night crap but this really is different. We're home and have time. 10-3. Those next 3 tough but Bengals should give a crap week 18 so if we need that win we'll get it. IMO.

 

You knew this was going to be the reaction lol everyone hates the yearly “woohoo another winning season” when it’s been 8 years since we’ve won a playoff game. I don’t believe for a second that you thought the reception would be different than this.

 

I take the streak for what it is, a nice accomplishment. Nothing more nothing less.

Only 7 seasons in the last 53 years they've finished with a losing record. Four of those were in Noll's late years. Two in a row in the Kordell years. And the Chin's last year.

 

Cowhers losing seasons were 1998,1999.2003
His last season was 8-8

 

Add 2 Lombardi and make it a 2fer
