With Anquan Bouldin traded to the 49ers for a 6th round draft pick, Ray Lewis retiring, Paul Krueger going to the Browns, and Dannell Ellerbe going to the Browns, Ravens are crippled. I guess this is good news for the Steelers for 2013 season. :lolol:

Ellerbe went to the dolphins not the browns...But yea nothing better than seeing the ravens get picked apart. Ellerbe was supposed to be their top priority to get resigned after flacco. Looks like Ozzie was on the golf course today instead of making these deals. If Ed Reed leaves, that defense is going to look very different.

Ed reed could be a victim as well hasn't heard from the organization since the 4th..The Ravens want him but not sure there pockets are deep enough.

Everyone was talking about how cap compliant they were, even with the Flacco contract. The talk about the Boldin trade was to clear cap space and Kruger was supposedly high on the list.

Now they've just lust 3 LBs and thier leading WR at the start of FA. Couple that with Suggs not being the Suggs he usually is yet.

Give me a Super Bowl trophy and I'd let you take the Steelers apart. Then you start over. Better than 8-8 and out of the playoffs.

The Ravens released Bernard Pollard today.

According to NFL dot com, these moves (pollard, ellerbee, kruger, and boldin) could be happening to free up/save $$ for Ed Reed.

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000150319/article/bernard-pollard-released-by-baltimore-ravens

Gawd, I hope its true. Nothing says wrecking a franchise like gutting yourself of youthful quality players in order to pay an aging superstar.

Oh, and BTW...SIGN BERNARD POLLARD NOW!!! He's the kina hard hitting safety the Steelers need.

(and cut both Troy and Clark too!)

There is a rumor they are not bringing reed back. There have been several reports him and pollard led a mutiny against harb towards the end of the regular season.

    Interesting.

I cant figure out the Pollard move and neither could Brian Billick on NFL Network, so maybe thats it. Harbs must have some thin skin or it was quite a revolt because he's a decent player and quite a hitter.

I really don't want to sound like everyone else, but give the Steelers S situation, he may be work a look. (Notice I said LOOK...not SIGN HIM NOW).
