It's time to have a conversation about TJ Watt

If they don't win 2 more AFC games then they aren't making the playoffs. I did the ESPN playoff calculator and I have the Bengals and Steelers both 9-7 going into the final game of the year. The winner of that game in Pittsburgh gets the #7 seed, the loser stays home.

 

I think they will beat the Bengals, Chiefs, and the Browns to get three more AFC wins.

 

We will win 2 more games . That will be enough for a Home playoff game. The Ravens, and everyone else is not going undefeated the rest of the year.

Everyone complaining about Minkah, and TJ.....what this doesn't say is .....I believe this the least amount of points average per game given up by the Defense .....since either played.

 

Anyone complaining about TJ Watt needs to see their therapist, or needs to go back to football school to better understand how to play D-end. TJ Watt is in the top 3 in the NFL.

 

TJ has 9.5 sacks with 5 games to go. If he ends up with around 14 sacks and he already has 5 forced fumbles then he will be right there in the conversation for DPOY again.

I don't have the stats, but my sense is that the Steelers have blitzed at one of the lowest % of Watt's career.

 

Watt is 2 sacks from the leader. He leads in forced fumbles and tackles for loss. So much for being washed.


Hutchs injury just might get Watts 2nd DPOY.

 

Let's hope Watt shows up against the Browns this time .

 

Let's hope the others players on the D actually beat their one on one's when He is being double, and tripled this time. The more they win their one on one's.....the less they can afford to put on Watt.

 

Watt had plenty of one-on-one reps against the Browns RT, stop with the excuse of him being doubled the whole game. The guys at Steelersdepot did a breakdown of Watt in that game and I posted it on here.

 

I have the game, and He was double, and tripled at least 10 times( would You like to put money on this).... even if it's only once....that means the rest are one on ones.....were is the support from the rest of the team???. There is a reason this happens to Him....so stop with the excuses.

 

I trust the guy from Steelersdepot who watches the All-22 tape, just admit Watt got owned that game and stop trying to blame the other players. Plenty of people in the media said that was probably Watt's worst game, even former Steeler Trai Essex criticized Watt's performance.

 

Trust who you want. I have the game. They didn't break down all 47, or so plays....they broke down what they wanted to try , and make a point . They were also the same people that said not to start Russell Wilson....when I told You that we should. So trust whomever you want.

Ok for instance.
In the last game.....I just broke down the 1st half of the Cincinnati game.
TJ Watt was doubled, or tripled 12 times in the 1st half. 12 times, and on one of those 12 .....He still got a strip fumble from Burrow. Seriously think about that. 12 times in one half. This is what he goes through every week, and still makes plays......I will be breaking down the other half tonight.
