Another reason why the loss to the Browns is big

Yeah this schedule is ridiculous. Not only is it brutal in the quality of teams that we play but the amount of rest between some of these games is just plain unfair. Playing a divisional rival in Cleveland five days after playing the Ravens. Notice the Ravens didn’t play until monday night. Playing the Bengals at their place and they get a bye before playing us. Four out of five games in this stretch on the road in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Philly and Baltimore. Playing KC in a five day stretch after playing Baltimore again. It almost looks like sabotage in a way. These schedule makers must be the same people that run PFF.

come on man, we basically are coming off of a BYE week - 10 days off. these KIDS are 26 years old.

enough of the whining - go out and BEAT the Bungles.

unless you are saying we are mediocre......which we might be.

We had a KUSH SCHEDULE to RACK UP WINS early, which we did. Should have had more!

I get that you are focused on relentlessly blaming Tomlin for everything, but you should be able to acknowledge that the schedule is constructed in a way that puts the Steelers at a significant disadvantage. It is better to spread out the more challenging games. It is better to not face multiple division games in which the opponent is coming in on the shorter rest. It is a problem to have arguably the three most difficult games on the schedule all in one stretch with two on the road and a consecutive weeks on short rest. Even Rooney expressed some displeasure. How often do you ever hear a Rooney complain about something the league did? Ever?

So for example: no difference in preparation time, and body management time for the Steelers, and the Ravens?
Steelers play Ravens (which everyone knows is always a tough game)....Steelers play 4 days later against division team at there home......Ravens play 8 days later out of division. Give me a break this is hard in HS, and College....let alone in the Pros. All this shows IMO is Your lack of understanding of what less preparation time, and body maintenance time actually mean to an athlete, and coaching.

I do worry about the Bengals and Burrow. their offense is really clicking now and they can score from anywhere on the field.
If the Steelers are a good solid team, they need to respond from a tough loss to the Browns.

isn't it funny, how the Ravens always seem to have a later BYE week.is Harbaugh paying someone or doing nasty things with NFL Brass.Very curious.

    you think what you want.

We will have had 10 days to plan for the Bungles.

I will have had a better plan put together than what we will see on Sunday. Book it!

Najee up the middle, first and 10, time and time again.

There is a lot more to winning football games than planning. Also, the Bengals will have had longer to put together their plan, so even in that, the schedule makers gave them an advantage.
