They better worry about plastering Burrow into the turf. He gets on a roll and its going to be a longgggg day.

Hopefully Highsmith can come back for this game.

That would be great, but they also need to keep Herbig involved. The Bengals don't run much, which makes Herbig an even better option for more playing time Sunday.

Just go 1-0. Pick up our 2nd win in the division. Stay in front.

The antedote to Pratt is one or two good Jaylen Warren blocks and that will shut him up.

The Steelers shouldn't need any help with motivation. They need to win this to stay in first place. This is a division game against an opponent that is a hell of a lot better than its 4-7 record. The remaining schedule is brutal. They can't afford another stumble.

Funny thing is that wasn’t the only great block Warren has had on Pratt.

Agreed. That's also yet another example of the way the schedule makers royally screwed the Steelers this season.

Agreed. I don't know if You seen it, but the Ravens have had the most time between games so far in the NFL schedule, and I believe the 49ers have had the least.

too much is made of this.

We get a 10 day break after a Thurs night game.

We had a PANSY SOFT sched to start.

Too much is made from teams that get more time between games than other teams. LoL. Go look at the time difference between Ravens so far this year, and the 49ers, and after this part of our schedule we won't be too far behind 9ers.

That is the problem. It is an advantage to have the more difficult games mixed in with the easier ones. Also, the Steelers have consecutive short weeks because of the Christmas Day game, and those are arguably the three most difficult games on their schedule. They have at least two division games in which the opponent had longer to prepare for them. The Ravens had their mini-bye heading into the game in Pittsburgh while the Steelers were on regular rest and now, when the Steelers get their mini-bye, the Bengals are coming in off a full rest. The Steelers got their bye at a less-crucial time, in between two non-conference games.

    the 49rs suck

    LOL

but the schedule is not WHY.

We play on Christmas day and then have a NICE break. Chiefs have to travel to us and then deal with it.

The Browns should have been an easy game. It was the BROWNS. look at that suck team!

Tomlin forgot the DPOY was rushing the QB.

this entire team better get it together (players AND coaches) - schedule or not - soft or hard - or we will finish 10-7 with a great SWOON here at the end, and another one and done in January! Been there, done that.

I get that nasty schedule after the Browns game. We will be playing 2 teams that may be having a re-match in the SB. :noose:(me if that happens) We don't just want to add to our playoff appearances record. We want to frigging win some. That means playing the teams we are fearing right now.

Should we make the Playoffs it will be the 35th time in the SB era. Not to shabby. 2 behind Cowboys and Packers.

The Browns had one win at the time when they beat Baltimore, I guess it wasn't such an easy game after all.

The Chiefs can be had this year for sure.Especially at home and with the way they've been playing. IMO the Lions and Eagles look to be the toughest out this year, with the Bills and Chiefs not too far behind. Saquon has found his groove with the Eagles. The Eagles are the toughest game left on the schedule, especially at their place, imho. If the good guys get through the upcoming stretch, winning more than losing, I like their chances of possibly making some playoff noise. Get there first.

That team just beat the Ravens, too, and they got every break imaginable beyond the Steelers' control to win that game. They got a short week at home. They got the ugly weather that negated the Steelers' biggest advantage, special teams. That team has had a dangerous offense since Winston took over at quarterback. Oh,and they got an officiating crew that heavily favors home teams. Their numbers back that up and the huge calls that consistently went the Browns' way in that game backed it up.

Sure, the Steelers should have won anyway, but your take is conveniently ignoring a lot of what happened Thursday night.

Can the Steelers just forfeit the Eagles game? I have a feeling it will get ugly they never win in Philly.

I would like to win everything leading up to the Eagles....then we don't have to worry about beating an NFC team.
