The folks in Tuscaloosa ain't happy

Hey @S.T.D would you consider that at one time Alabama had as good or better a program than OSU? Alabama at one time hot all the athletes they needed. Now they're kind of struggling. I wish I could tell you where I was going with this but anyway you're a smart dude you'll figure it out

 

So, what logic is the Committee going to use to get a 3 loss Alabama into the college football playoffs?

 

Now it gets more interesting......
Georgia in the SEC title game against Texas, whose only loss is to Georgia. If Texas beats Georgia, the committee is going to have to play twister to get two 3-loss SEC teams in.

 

What a wild week! Not just in the SEC but in CFB in general as 7 teams in top 25 lost and big rivalry week coming up next Saturday. It sucks when your team doesn't do well, but this has been a very fun and entertaining season to watch as a college football fan!

How about South Carolina coming on and getting better every week. Could they make it into the playoff with a win over Clemson next week? @Steelpens65 would be over the moon if that happens!

Saw a stat this morning that Alabama had only lost 1 game to an unranked team from 2008-2023 and have now lost 2 to unranked opponents this season. Nick Saban effect?

 

SEC network was showing Bama still having a 31% chance of making the playoff. What a joke.

 

I wouldn't put them in there, but there are other teams that are in the top 12 that don't belong either. If You have a winning record against not top 25 teams what does that say??. Example they had BYU, Colorado, and Pitt in the top 25, and yet every time those teams played a top25 team they lost. Strength of schedule should amount for something. By my feelings....someone like South Carolina deserves it over teams that have played nobody. South Carolina is 8 -3 , and they have played 5, or 6 top 25 teams.

 

Going by todays AP rankings teams 11-20:
11 Boise State- played 1 top 25, lost to #1 Oregon
12 Clemson- 1 top 25, lost to Georgia
13 Alabama- played 4, won 3
14 Arizona State- played 3, won 3
15 Ole Miss- played 2, 1/1
16 South Carolina- played 5, 2/3
17 Iowa State- played 1, 1/0
18 Tulane- played 2, 0/2
19 BYU- played 2, 1/1
20 Texas A&M- paled 3, 2/1

 

Penn State played one and lost
Texas played one and lost

 

Arkansas has play 5, and won one. LoL
They will play another this week, and So will South Carolina that will make 6 top 25 teams South Carolina will face, and if they win....at 9-3 with facing 6 top 25 teams....IMO they deserve to be in the final 12.

 

I seen one today… no lie… they have Alabama still at 7 after loss…have them going to championship game against Oregon.. unfreakinbelievable

 

I can say Ohio State played 3.. 2-1

 

Refs cost a game sealing int against LSU

 

They have no reason to be that high. They have fallen apart since Nick left

 

Indiana with their weak ass schedule.. after getting blown out by the Buckeyes shouldn’t even be sniffing playoffs

 

If refs didn’t call that bogus block on int for td against LSU.. we might’ve made SEC Championship game.. would’ve only had 2 losses
GA has 2 losses, so i dont know what the criteria would’ve been

 

If You win against Clemson....I really can't see how they keep them out of the Final 12.

 

They got Clemson has high as number 12.. which is good for us, if we win.. we are at the mercy of the court

 

My brother, and I were talking about it tonight, and we both said if they beat Clemson.....there should be no freaking way they keep South Carolina out if the final 12, but if You lose....well
Just got to be Clemson....I believe that's all

 

Whoever wins that game has a legit chance of making playoffs

 

Plus , Gamecocks are an exciting team right now. Don’t think the playoff committee has taken notice? They like eye candy.
