If he gets into a scuffle with fans and gets himself suspended, there will be plenty of reason to care.

If i want to root for whiney cry baby players… i would be a Cowboy fan.

 

u have know ****ing idea what goes o in the locker room. i know some on here kiss his ass if he has a good game, and want to run him out of town if he has a bad game.. some on here flop like a fish out of water...

Porter gets away with it all game long. We were getting grabbed all night long, Pickens interfered w, 2 pt conversion mugging too

 

some fans are clueless - of course it matters!

Your exactly right about Porter… fans just want all the calls for their teams.
To me, you lost deal with it, quit blaming the refs.

 

This part of the article on Allen’s crew certainly didn’t hold true….

“Allen also calls plenty of offensive holdings and a high rate of defensive pass interferences.”

If they call even a couple of those, the game could’ve been much different.

 

By the way, it looks like the Steelers WR were not even trying to even look at the ball. The worst Hail Mary attempt I have seen.

When he is suspended then Steelers will realize we need another WR also--- not chumps

 

The refs could probably throw a flag on every play. Everyone holds. There’s PI or holding on every pass play. Games would take 6 hours if they threw every flag.

 

The only way there (Steelers) are going to stop that is to hit him with a heavy fine. Taking something out of the paycheck usually gets a lot of attention..

 

And the same refs didn’t call Porter for his holding

The Little Dude had a better day than Pickens and he isn’t even very good

 

There are local reports that he was hit with ice, snow and possible other items after being forced into the wall. Probably reacted like anyone else would. They are people.

 

Yes it is and thats on coaching and holding these guys accountable. Thats why teams like the Patriots under Bellicheck could get less talented players and have them out work and out grind superior players. Thats why against the Ravens you see our true talent when every player is motivated and then against a Browns team we come out flat and play with no heart. This team doesn’t have enough players that are grinders that want it. Its the difference between being a 9-5 clock watcher and somebody who is passionate about their job. The Browns are the same us a team with talent but even less motivated and less accountable. Amazing how Garrett plays well when he is up for the game and then disappears for half season. That guy runs hot and cold.

 

I will take this kind of passion any day and the repercussions with it. Its the giving up on plays, or not blocking that drives me crazy. I think there are some things that Pickens needs to improve on as far as always being dialed in like coming back for the ball on a scramble drill. He relays so much on raw talent and he is having a great year he may not feel like he needs to work on anything. I hope that is not the case.

 

Why do People say dumb stuff? He was literally dragged into the fans.

 

somewhat agree, but some is just blatant. Pickens was interfered with, boxed out down the sideline during a crucial part of the game, a big down field pass.

it as PI all day long.

and yes, Porter holds and arm bars frequently, and clearly intentionally! it is his game and it is a problem, (for us)
