This is the thread where ALL draft picks will be announced by their teams GM. NO OTHER POSTS ARE PERMITTED HERE (to discuss draft selections do so in the main thread).

    A couple reminders:

Also if you will not be here and your pick is coming up...you can PM your pick and I will try to announce your pick for you...but keep in mind, say there are 3 teams ahead of you, then you would need to PM me FOUR choices (ranked by the one you wont most to least), that way if someone takes one of your choices I'll go to the next and so on. If you do not PM me your picks (if you're not going to be here) and your time limit expires...then the next team is on the clock...and if you do not pick by the time that team does then ANYONE can be make your pick for you...but it MUST be a logical/fitting/etc pick not just some random player. Now even if you do PM me your picks and you're here when you’re on the clock you CAN announce it yourself.

Time limit per pick (by round):

    1st - 12 hours
    2nd - 10 hours
    3rd - 10 hours
    4th - 8 hours
    5th - 8 hours
    6th - 6 hours
    7th – 6 hours

Also any MB Trades will be shown next to the pick inside [ ] any other trades shown were down in real life prior to the start of our "season".

For those new to this...look at how the others are announcing their picks...make sure the players first/last name, position, college and pick number (be it round 2 pick 32 or whatever) are in your selection announcement.

With the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] pick in the 2013 TSF.com mock draft the Jacksonville Jaquars select:

    Dion Jordan, DE/OLB, Oregon.

We have decided that speed is a must on this team and we feel that he is the most explosive player in the draft.

Ok guys we can keep things moving you don't need my permission to do this...if its been 12 hours (not including 12am-6am) the next team is up...and if by the time the next team has picked then anyone can pick for the skipped team...

Philly was skipped as of 8am today...and Detroit has been on the clock since then.

    NO!

As I said...Philly's owner has until at least after the next team (DET) picks...once DET picks then Philly's owner releases the right to pick for them!

With the whatever pick this is in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select:

    Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama

We have had subpar cornerback play since Dick LeBeau. 'Twas the beginning of the Taft administration, and the country was in whirlwind over the newest technological advance, the victrola... The secondary has long been a weakness of the Lions, and we believe Milliner will finally bring shut-down ability a defense that's needed it for decades, making the pass rush even more effective. Milliner will start week 1.

The Cleveland Browns are on the clock.

Didn't we do it one year where, Philly's GM would still get to make his own pick, whenever he gets here? So if he's not back for 2 days and he missed 10 picks, then his 4th pick has to be someone that hasn't been taken yet, and he missed out on 10 great guys and it just sucks for him. I kind of like it that way, and I think that's how they do it in real life. Does it not work for us because people might just never show up?

First of all...lets try to keep any questions/discussions to the main thread not the selection thread here (I know earlier I didnt do this, but I was taking care of a situation).

To answer you though...yes we did it that way before...and we also did it to where as soon as a teams time expired ANYONE could pick. Both ways created problems...the 2nd one had people saying they should be given a little flex room to make their pick before someone else does. And then the option of letting a teams pick slide for as long as it takes the GM to make the pick...this creates a majorly unrealistic situation. As I do not think any team in real life would ever let a pick slide 5-10 spots. I've seen a couple seconds/minutes...but thats it. And we're going for REALISM here...but at the same time we're giving people some flex room before someone else will pick for them. This is like our situation with trades...some wanted NO trades and then some wanted trades...and then the committee idea came up as a middle ground.

If the trade is approved, the Dolphins take Eric Fisher, OT, Central Mich with pick #6. I was going to trade into bottom of top 10 and get Johnson, but SBD made a nice offer.

With the 8th overall pick the Bills select:

    QB Geno Smith, WVU

While we would have liked to traded down...this was not an option at this time...and with a huge need at QB...and the top QB in the draft sitting there...you take him! (as an "out of character note" I was going to pass on Geno as I dont think ANY QB is worth a top 10 spot this year...and that would have led me to trade down...but I didnt get word out fast enough/etc for that...so it was between Geno...Warmack...or possibly a WR...but in this case with limited QBs available and not knowing who'd be there in the 2nd round...you have to go QB here).

The Jets are on the clock (as of 6am...since its 5 min until midnight)...and ANYONE can pick for AZ now...

Crap I kept looking at the selections in the first post and missed the trade which put me on the clock. If I haven't lost my pick the cards will take Lane Johnson.

With the #11 pick in the TSF Mock Draft, the San Diego Chargers select JONATHAN COOPER, G, North Carolina. The Chargers' O-Line is in absolute shambles, and Cooper was in the discussion of being the BPA at this spot anyway. While we would have preferred a left tackle, they went like the proverbial hotcakes. I believe that Cleveland is on the clock due to the earlier trade between the Browns and The Fins.

    TRADE!

Cleveland has traded its 1st and 4th round picks to San Francisco, in exchange for SF's 1st and 3rd round picks, and QB Alex Smith... I won't be around for a bit so I'm announcing the trade and making my pick now. But confirmation from Cleveland's GM and trade approval is still needed.

    Browns get:
Alex Smith (564) (Equivalent to 2nd pick in round 2)
    #31 overall (600 points) (1st round)
    #94 overall (124 points) (3rd round)

    Niners get:
    #12 overall (1200 points) (1st round)
    #103 overall (88 points) (4th round)

With the 12th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select:

    Star Lotulelei, DL, Utah

With the departure of NT Isaac Sopoaga and an aging Justin Smith, the 49ers have opted for the standout defensive lineman from Utah, who will serve as starting nose tackle immediately, with the ability to shift to 5-tech DE at any point. This allows the team a couple of years to figure out which position he is best suited for, and which position they will need to address once the great Justin Smith retires.

On a side note, the 49ers wish to thank Alex Smith for all he has done during his time here, and his tremendous contribution to the success of the team. We wish nothing but the best for him in the future and will be following him closely in Cleveland.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on the clock.
