Sorry for your loss. I know what its like to lose your parents. My mom past in May of this year. She knew I loved the Steelers so much that she use to jokingly said I hope I don't die on Sunday haha. People kind of know that I am selfish and I allocate 3 hours of my life once per week so don't ask me to do anything or go anywhere. I am in St Lucia right now and had to get some assistance to get the equipment I need to patch game to TV. That ended in shambles because wifi on the island is BRUTAL. Ended up watching on my macbook and phone . LOL

Beautiful tribute to your mom's care for you! May the peace of Christ surround you. You reminded me of memories. My dad is 86 and still living. He was not a sports fan at all but he knew I loved the Battlin' Bucs as a kid. He would let me listen to night games on my transistor radio while in bed. On west coast games, he would stick his head in the door and say, "what inning?" If it was 8th or later...he would say, "turn it off as soon as it's over." If it was earlier, "Sorry buddy, read about it in the morning."

Bittersweet memory: the guy who truly didn't know much of anything about baseball or the Pirates, woke me up in the early morning hours of January 1, 1973 to tell me Roberto Clemente had died. He held me while I cried.

Your memories will hold you! Bless you, my friend.
