I disagree, during the 4 games with Russ as the starter we are dead last in the redzone at 38%, you can't keep doing this. Not saying we have to use Fields every single time in the redzone but to not use him at all especially inside the 10 is just foolish when Fields had a dynamite 85% TD ratio in the red area. It's true no team has won a superbowl with using 2 QBs but I'm sure almost no teams won a Superbowl with a 38% redzone percentage.

So you want to take the threat of the quarterback sneak away when the team needs a yard, right?

This is one of the reasons I pull back on Fields running the QB sneak. As much as I hate see little Russell out there trying to move big D-Lineman backwards, I would be afraid of Fields having a bad snap under center.

And, I think Russell Wilson would be all on board if the Steelers want to run the Triple-Option at the goal line to let Fields take a play where he gets blown up by a D-Lineman right before he pitches the ball outside. From what I have seen in the redzone with Russell Wilson he does not like to tuck the ball and make a dash for the endzone.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. 11 attempt 8 TDs for Fields and only 4 TDs for Wilson.

Threw to him in the red zone yesterday, and he literally turned around to look at who was behind him. Never once even tried for the ball. He let a 5'10 guy, one foot behind him intercept the ball.

I wouldn’t bring Fields in every red zone snap but mixing it up here and there. Oh hell yes.

It's dumb. Just take Russell Wilson off the Field, and make Justin Fields play instead.
If Fields was the Qb....I wouldn't want Russell Wilson running out there during certain plays either. They are Qbs....not rbs, not wrs, not dbs.....there is a reason this has never worked....., but hey.....what do I know??
    I don't play Madden.

But in %,the steelers were much better inside to 10 with Fields!

You look like as if I want Fields to be our starter....No this is not the case. But I want him with more snap in the red zone

Teams have brought in other QBs to run sneaks or trick plays. Don’t you remember slash??

I would not go to Fields as our red zone QB, but I would give him snaps in certain situations like we saw yesterday. Setting aside that he didn’t realize when to slide (which I’m sure his knows NOW), it was effective. I would like to see some packages for him in goal-to-goal situations. They would need to include some passes, mainly boots and RPOs on the edge, so that the defense wouldn’t know for certain that a run was coming. He puts a different kind of pressure on the defense than Russ, and that can help make it harder for teams to prepare for us given the limited practice time.

You do not understand the pressure You will be putting on both Qbs. You will cause both to be forcing things that aren't there....for fear that they won't bring him back in, or they will take the other out. You want Wilson not to play...then put Fields in, and sit Russell, but don't play this Qb against Qb crap. It will cause problems. This is not Madden. I can't believe people that have actually played are agreeing with this.

I'm still amazed that the Ravens weren't ready for Fields to run on that play. Maybe they were just that messed up by the loss of Smith, but that's just stupid on their part.

It's nothing like the Philly thing. They aren't taking their Qb out to do it.

People can say what they want, but nobody thought it was anything other than a run, or a hand off. Just like everyone knew last week we weren't going to snap the ball, and still got Washington on a hard count. LoL
