Injury Updates

anything on benton injury? i don't like this one. loudermilk and lowry played well though.

 

Not that any game is a good game to rest any player but I doubt Highsmith plays TNF even if ready.

 

Even if it is minor, it would be tough for him to be ready Thursday night. During the post-game press conference, Tomlin only said that Benton would need to be evaluated further. I assume he will have more to say tomorrow.

 

Benton seems to be fine. Looks like the only guy that will be out is Highsmith.

Steelers have signed Eric Rowe, S, to the practice squad.

 

No injury designation for Benton at all? That's very good news. Lowry and Loudermilk played well, too, but better to have all of their interior guys ready to go.

 

Does Roman Wilson even count anymore ?

Getting hurt does not make him a bad pick.

 

LOL, I think he was in for 3 plays and got hurt on 2 of them.

 

In no way does that counter what I wrote. Injuries happen. Unfortunately, we probably won't get a real chance to evaluate Wilson until next season.

At least Jones can stay healthy

 

No way should they draft another OL in the first round next year, they need to address DL, WR, CB early in the draft. Jones is going to have to figure it out he's better in the run game than pass protection.

 

Not sure if that’s a good thing at this point.
