Week 12:Cleveland Browns(2-8)

The steelers won only won once in Cleveland since 2018 and they are 0-3 on the road in Cleveland on a thursday night...Need to end it!

 

Yeah. This has 'Trap Game' written all over it. The team is probably beat up after the Raven game with a short week with travel and its difficult for Tomlin to convince players that Cleveland is seriously a dangerous team at 2-8.

 

The clowns got shelled by Orleans yesterday. The Steelers D already smells blood in the water.

Could it be the typical trap game? Anything is possible. But their is a different feel. And I like it.

 

Even if we forfeit we still should win. Cleveland sucks!

 

Probably the Turds will give us their best shot instead of laying down. Hope we can get up enough for this game and get the win.

 

This is what I'm afraid of

 

Hate this stat...in my mind I was happy that this is a primetime game rather than a 1pm game. Primetime game seems less likely to be a letdown game.

 

I checked out a Browns forum to get their take on the game. “Steelers Week” is usually a big deal. There is not one peep so far about the upcoming game. There IS a big bitter discussion about Art Modell possibly going into the NFL HOF.
I hope this is not Tomlin’s 2024 “Tomlin Game”. Remember, as inept as they are, the Browns did beat the flying rodents.

 

It’s a huge game short week. Definite trap game. Just need to win and no injuries that’s it

 

Second the no injuries...then have 10 days to prep for Bungals.

 

I'm more concerned about this game. Although they will have extra time to prepare.

 

Winston gives the Browns a punchers chance. He can still sling the football, sometimes to the other team, but he tore apart the Ravens just a few weeks ago.

 

Cleveland might be laying down for the #1 pick. If they are not this could be a tricky game short week on the road after an emotional win.

 

For sure...feel like the Steelers match up well with the Ravens and the Bengals match up well with the Steelers.

Steelers are unlikely to win all their games, so give me 2-1 the next 3 weeks in any combination and I'll be happy.

 

Yeah they are a bad matchup for us. Aggressive quick scoring offense, then Hendrickson playing really well on defense. If we can run the ball and keep Joey on the sidelines we will win.

 

yep - be wary, VERY WARY. A DOG FIGHT in the DAWG POUND for sure.

 

I like going to games live but I will happily miss that weather

Funny, you always here about the Steelers taking the bus to play in Cleveland, but with a history like that, you would think a change would be good. Charter a private plane and break the losing streak.

Some traditions need to die hard.

 

We are significantly better than the Browns this year. They are injured and decimated with trades. Zero excuses if we lose this one.
