We are 7-1 in the last 8 games. If their Wrs drop passes, and have caused loses....that's not our problem....that's theirs.
    1. It's funny none of our dropped passes seem to matter in that same game.
    2. Some of thise so called dropped passes by the Ravens were horrible passes that they barely got a finger on..., but of course with Lamar all the rules are different in people's minds.
To prove that fact....I bet if Lamar Jackson has more tds, and yards this year than any Qb.....no matter if His record is worse than another Qb.....He will win the MVP.....Yet last year with 5 Qbs with as many , or more overall tds, and yards .....they told Me he won because He had the best record. People can't keep moving the goal post so He can win.

And I know our successes against the Ravens since 2020 but every game was very close even in the second game of the covid year in 2020 or week 18 last year against their backup so I'm not going to be comfortable tomorrow because of our recent successes against them, several games could go either way...This is a true rivalry, every game are hard for both side,no matter who is in their roster

Totally agree, but to make excuses for them is bad. We could also say....if they don't call roughing the passer on TJ Watt it never goes into overtime, and Lamar Jackson would never have had a win against us, or that if JuJu doesn't fumble in overtime, then Lamar Jackson never has a win against us, but we don't....because those things happen in football. So it's in bad taste to make excuses why they lost.

Yeah, almost every ravens-steelers game is like that between them in the Harbaugh-Tomlin era!....I agree with you,it will depend on a few play,28 of the last 35 matchup or something like that are by one score since 2008

But my point for last year,it was not on Lamar their loss in Pittsburgh,he had been great in the first half but his receiver let him down...This is also true he was bad in the other 3 matchup especially in 2019 and 2020....I would said in 2020,Lamar cost the ravens by himself with his turnovers

Pitt is playing Clemson right now at Heinz Field

It rained yesterday so the field will be wet

It will be interesting to see what condition it is in tomorrow

Although it is Pitt and not a major college football program but more like Quad A high school

    We Are

It’s not respectful to Pitt to call them that

LOL. You know better. I grew up a Penn State fan. When I was a child, I was foolish enough to believe all that nonsense about Paterno doing things the right way. Then I grew up.

You punctuated your post with the beginning of the Penn State chant, revealing why you felt the need to take a shot at Pitt. That's fine, of course, but it also makes comments about Penn State fair game, too.

There's always an excuse, either side really... but sometimes drops and things of that nature are remembered in some cases due to how costly they are in the game. When a WR drops a ball, wide open, in the end zone, when it hits him in the hands... its an easy thing to point to, even if all it comes to is making excuses. They had a REALLY bad one just like that last year in PIttsburgh (I think it was Bateman?), about as routine a play as you could imagine that got completely botched. They had us where they wanted us and screwed it up.

Either way though, if you want to win the game... make the plays. Simple as that.

I will say that I am feeling WAY better about this game with Wilson as the QB instead of Pickett. It just feels like we can win a game where points need to be scored, and the last 2 years we had 0 margin for error. The second the opposition scored 20 points, it was over. We can win a game in the high 20's and 30's right now, so it is nice knowing that we don't have to play a near perfect game defensively to have a shot.

The Steelers were 2-0 in games Pickett started and finished against the Ravens. They did lose one his rookie year when he was knocked out of the game just a few plays in.

So you agree we should feel better with Wilson than Pickett

    I think everyone agrees there

Just reminding folks their perceptions of Pickett might be a bit off.

The steelers had under 10 points in both of those games in the first 58 minutes with Pickett as QB,start to finish....If it happens today again, the game will likely be over at that time

Again, maybe this is just me but I don't think the steelers have a chance to win today if they can't score 10 points in the first 58 minutes like the last 2 starts vs ravens for Pickett.....The offense was complete garbage last year vs ravens in october....It was fire Canada chant in the stadium everytime our offense was on the field
