Pitt football the past 40 years

I remember a story about someone who played against Franco in high school. He was LB and was defending the goal line. Thought he had Franco lined up in the hole for a stop and next thing he remembered he was on the ground at the back of the end zone. Franco ran over him. He said he knew then that Franco was completely different.

 

This is tough to watch.

LoL. SMU has played nobody, and the only time they have they lost.....so I just figured by the way everyone was talking up Pitt....it would be easy. I never watch Pitt. None of My family ever went there. I watch PSU.

 

I guess we now call this misery loves company after this past week. Then Louisville went and beat up on highly ranked Clemson on the road. Pitt now gets to face both of them 2 and 3 weeks out. Could easily drop both. Looks like the Tidy Bowl game for Pitt once again since they already have their 6 wins which is all that's required for any bowl game.

 

Well crap! Good game for awhile last night. Looking forward to the next few Pitt seasons.

 

How to be at the 1 yard line and work your way back to the 17 yard line by the Pitt Panthers. 3-4 straight penalties at the goal line against Clemson Still in game but it's late. Looks like 3 straight loses for the Panthers.

 

Crap. Clemson came back to win it.

This is what I was saying about teams playing no ranked teams. You can win a lot of games in college this way. Hell look at Colorado....they beat a 4-6 team today, and people are talking about playoffs. LoL. They have faced one team all year, and got beat.

Boy was I wrong about the Panthers.

 

I am used to the disappointments with Pitt football the last 40 years.

 

I know the feeling well.
