Something wrong when a man does his job so well people complain

I had a job per se for 16 years where most people didn’t even know I existed

Of course, he failed in that on the long catch and run by McLaurin Sunday. He has been caught out of position on quite a few big plays this season. Fitzpatrick is playing well, but it is still fair to be disappointed that he no longer makes big plays and he has made some key mistakes on big plays for opponents this season.

Yep, there were those half dozen or so plays where somebody else made a football play.

There were those plays when Fitzpatrick failed to make a football play, or was fooled into being out of position. He is still a good player and important to that defense, but for whatever reason, he is not an All-Pro any more.

What stretch? He is still good, but he's not playing at an All-Pro level. The big plays are absent and he has made some big mistakes that allowed big plays.

Either the big plays are absent because he's less than now, OR because he's the reason plays have to be made elsewhere. Nobody is feasting on throwing at Minkah.
552 snaps so far this season. I don't see the fall off.

Minkah is right but I hear it a lot this season from my group of Steeler friends. Just like a Hockey player who stays in his assigned zone when I'm screaming at them to get in the mix, hell with protecting the net.

When he gets the INT off Mahomes in the AFCCG they'll change their tune;)

That is very clear with a lot of fans here

Now with that said I’m a big fan at the beach of hot ladies in bikinis and I have little to no firsthand knowledge

Funny how his defenders are trying to give him credit for plays made by other players.

The people who don't see him getting caught out of position on big passing plays and didn't notice him blowing the tackle on McLaurin's big catch and run don't know football very well.

Fans make me laugh. Like separating the Wr from the ball in a crucial down in the game, or a huge 4th down stop like the last game counts as a splash play.

Yes He has been caught out of position....name Me one D player.....anywhere in the NFL that never has....just this year???
It doesn't change the huge plays he has made in critical times. Last two game for example: Separation of the ball from the Wr in a crucial down, without doing it where it causes a flag, and the help stop of a 4th down to win the game. Those are both splash plays, and at very important times. There is more to playing the position than ints. You know this.

Do you see me disparaging him for not intercepting a pass since the end of the 2022 season? No. What I did write is that even though he is still playing very well, he is not at the All-Pro level he used to be. I'm not sure why that is so controversial.

We as fans bicker too much about petty things. Minkah is doing his job.

Minkah might have saved the Washington game for them with that 4th down stop, that was a "splash" play if ever there was one.

Okay, let me jump in here, Minkah is ok and above average this year. Not an all pro level and not because they are not throwing his way. Just not making enough of great plays like in the past.

He also provides leadership in the secondary. That is a contribution that is often overlooked and it is a very big thing. Games without him are different in a bad way.
